  • Must have!
Size: 9 Color: Tan
These boots are not only comfortable but definitely help keep your calves and feet warm!! I work mainly outside even during the winter and we live in New England. These boots have definitely been well broken in and still look almost new! The treading on the bottom gave great support when walking on icy spots and even going through 9 inch’s of snow my feet and socks were dry!! I will definitely be getting another pair in black next winter because a girl needs opinions! ... show more

  • These boots are the real deal! And a steal!
Size: 8 Color: Tan
I just have to write this review, because I know how difficult it is to shop for snow gear online, especially shoes! I was in the market for new snow boots, but I needed to keep my wallet friendly, so I turned to Amazon. I have had past experiences where the shoes didn’t fit, didn’t look as good as the photos, or didn’t perform... so I did my homework: I read about the companies, read the reviews, etc. Let me tell you: these boots are the real deal! And a steal! 1. Performance: As of now, these boots have withstood a few days of heavy snow storms in Tahoe. Not light use either! Because we haven’t been skiing due to heavy snow, we’ve been walking around in 3ft snow, sledding, and tubing. My feet have been kept warm and comfy. 2. Fit & Feel: I usually wear a 7.5R, so I ordered a size 8. I would say this is a true to size fit. I decided to go up a half size because of the thick socks, and I’m glad I did. They are a perfect fit with my extra thick socks! They are also comfortable to walk around, my arch feels supported, they’re warm, and the toes are stiff (perfect if you can’t actually see the ground, so it keeps your feet safe). 3. Traction: this was super important to me, since last pair I had kept failing me! I kept falling everywhere. These boots offer a fair amount of traction. I can’t say 100% that they’re heavy duty, but they have held up in pretty icy situations where brand name snow boots haven’t. 4. Look: last, but not least, they are super cute! I really love the style. I’ve gotten a bunch of compliments from friends. I also like the zipper, as it makes them super easy to put on. I was afraid that would be the downfall, and that water would get into the show because of it.. but it’s held up 100%. My feet have been dry and happy. They look like in the photo, maybe a tad lighter in color. 5. Durability: can’t really say anything here, so I’ll have to come back in a few months and update. Hope this review helps! Happy shopping :) ... show more

  • Great boot for the price
Size: 9 Color: Black/Black
Purchased a new 2nd pair of Polar boots specifically for a trip to Iceland. 5 days walking about the countryside in all sorts of weather conditions, my feet were warm, dry and felt great at the end of each day. These are cute, comfy and stylish boots for the money!

  • Solid pair of boots with great value. Highly recommend.
Size: 10 Color: Black Leather
I was able to wear these boots in snow and rain and they kept my feet nice and warm and gripped the ground fairly well. I love the zipper function because it makes it easy to take these boots on and off. I appreciated the inner piece of cloth behind the zipper to add another barrier so that snow or rain didn't get in to wet the socks. I also love that the back top is strethy cloth material because it's forgiving with my wide calves and adjusts whether I wore jeans, leggings, or both. I would recommend purchasing an insole if you plan on going on long walks in them because I did notice the lack of support when I walked in them for an hour but I overlooked it because they kept my feet nice and toasty. I ordered a size up as recommended in other reviews and found it to work out great the first time I wore them with thick socks. The thick socks helped with providing extra cushioning but the insulation achieved by the boot alone led me to start wearing them with standard socks as my feet still remained very warm even in 10°F weather. I attributed this to the boot being fully lined with the faux fur which also helped ensure the boot wasn't too loose without thick socks. I generally prefer wide width shoes and did not find an issue with the width of these boots nor the toe box. I don't know how long these will last as I've had them only for one winter season but for the price (~ $35), comfort, and versatility, I highly recommend this item as a solid winter boot. Bonus points for being fashionable AND functional. ... show more

  • Cute, warm, but not built for longevity
Size: 7 Color: Black
I am from Florida, but bought these boots for a trip to Iceland. They’re cute and warm, which matched my needs. If you live somewhere that would allow you to wear these with any real frequency, you should know one of the seems had split by my fifth and final day in Iceland. It’s a very small and barely noticeable split, but that’s an issue that would get worse very quickly. I did wear these all day every day during my trip and we walked an average of five miles each day. Added to the one day I wore them to the office to break them in, I wore these for a max of 30 miles. As I was packing up for the flight home, I noticed a small tear, about 1”, next to the zipper on one of these boots. Considering that I was not doing anything more strenuous than walking (no fitness boot camps, no glacier hikes, no running), I did not expect them to fail so quickly. Otherwise, they were great. Paired with wool socks, they kept me warm enough. I wore them on a northern lights boat excursion (night boating, in winter, in Reykjavik...and we stayed on deck the whole 3-4hrs) and my toes were chilled but not freezing—-would recommend that you add toe warmers on such an extreme situation (I brought some but they were duds). The non-slip aspect was mostly reliable. I only fell on ice once on my trip (one bruise, no injury). There was ALOT of ice, and I did slide a few times—but consider that I am from Florida and haven’t really learned “how to winter.” When I fell, I was on pure unsalted ice that was inches thick. I did not wear crampons, so do remember that these do not replace crampons and these would work great. ... show more
