Description

Polar Tech Re-Freez-R-Brix foam refrigerant pack. Re-Freez-R-Brix is a block of rigid foam that holds its shape frozen or thawed and is reusable. The Refrigerator in a bag. These refrigerants are non-toxic, sealed in a heavy plastic pouch, and are rated the best in foam refrigerants. Prevent thawing, keeps frozen products chilled for an extended period of time. Protects against freezing, when packaged in properly insulated containers, warmed Re-Freez-R- Brix release heat, keeping perishables from freezing. Protect from warming, keeps perishables requiring a temperature range of 32 to 60 degree F at a safe, uniform cool temperature for over 14 days.

First introduced to these when I received one of these brix with an online shipped food order. Did such an amazing job at maintaining freezing temperatures that I sought out more of the product. Soooo glad I did - they came in VERY useful when my refrigerator failed recently and I was forced to put everything into coolers for over a week. Even with frequent opening of the coolers, these brix stayed frozen and kept things cold. By comparison with several other refrigerator packs in use at the same time, they did the best job over the ten days. The 9x4" size of the brix are good size, very solid and not floppy even when not frozen. They are easy to fit in large coolers. Almost any freezer pack can work for a few hours but these brix easily held up for 18-20 hours and were still really cold and quick to refreeze. The brix easily stay frozen for 2-3 days when the coolers weren't opened frequently and searched through. ... show more

    • Stayed cold for road trip.
I put two of the bricks in a 1.5 x 1.5 x 2.5 foot cooler on a 10 hour road trip in July in the South. They arrived still cold and partially frozen. My mom took them out of the cooler and placed them on the kitchen table at about 6 p.m. The next morning, she noticed that, the side touching the table was still quite cold. For comparison, I put several of those frozen plastic blocks filled with the blue liquid in a different, smaller cooler and those were all melted after the trip and not as cold as the bricks. Not the most ideal to use for shipping things you are trying to keep cold, only because they are heavy. But they should do the job for short shipping times. ... show more

I purchased 3 of these to put into a soft sided (trader joes) cooler, which I transported 2 frozen full size key lime pies in from Florida to New Hampshire for Christmas. They kept the pies frozen all day long and the bricks were still mostly frozen the next day, and they were only in a cheap soft sided cooler bag. Worked fantastic!! ... show more

We use these Re-Freez Bricks in our catering to keep food items cold in transit. They excel in that job. They are repeatedly used, re-frozen and re-used. They are a solid product I would reorder anytime I needed to replace them. I do clean wipe them before re-freezing them in the box(es) they came in so they are protected from being knocked about by other items in my freezer. these are great to put in my thermal shopping bags - it get real hot here in California and when I go shopping I put these re-freez-r-brix in the thermal bags and they keep my food cold until I can get home and put the food in the refrigerator or freezer. these are wonderful - I keep them in the freezer at all times until I need them.     • Kept steak cold in mail for almost four full days!
I am so excited and have to leave a great review. I mailed a bunch of refridgerated goods to my brother including a Delmonico steak through USPS. I used a regular cardboard box, then I doubled up on insulating bags (the silver ones) then put two of these frozen bad boys in a plastic bag and then put them on the bottom of my insulated bags. Added my cold goods, folded over the insulated bag and taped it down, then I threw a third insulated bag over the top of the other two bags to make sure it was sealed from the top. I mailed this on a Monday afternoon. It arrived Thursday at 11 am and my brother said it was all still cold! I’m so pumped. Awesome product! ... show more

AWESOME!!!! I ordered these to help keep my lunch cool, living in a very hot climate and keeping my lunch box in the car due to no actual storage area at work, I frequently had very warm foods that shouldn't be, these did the trick and for the price well worth it!
