This is a set similiar to the one I got for Christmas but it is of the latest expansion of the game. I enjoy this one. I got a really nice Mew EX card and a few others to add to my Dark Charizard Meta Deck. I pulled some wild ones not too many hits but there were some really awesome things I can use for competitive stuff. Do not sneeze on the weaker cards or the ones that are not the fancy EX cards. I am doing Pokemon Tournaments and these can be used for the Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) formats. For collectors this is a good one for you have a chance at some really cool pulls. This set has the damage dice, condition tokens and a strategy book which is also the checklist. It all came in untampered which I can see the concern to some of my fellow reviewers. Yet, your are not guaranteed every card in the set. I was able to avoid getting too many duplicates. I got a very nice swatch of stuff. I got two awesome Palafin cards one being a full art and one being Shiny. This is one of the few sets I have seen that have Shiny variants. Shiny Pokemon are always fun to track down. ... show more

The big problem with buying booster boxes on Amazon is that they can be manipulated to ensure you only get bad pulls. This is much harder to accomplish with Elite Trainer Boxes, because of all of the extras that come with them. You get a set of cheap dice, you get a pack of cases to put your cards in, and you get some booster packs that haven't already been weighed to ensure the seller gets the best cards for themselves. If you are new to collecting pokemon, get a few of these to give yourself the non-card tools you need. If you're just new to this set, grab yourself a few of these to get the nice card sleeves and some guaranteed random cards. A good value no matter what. ... show more

No, signs of tampering! I recieved this in perfect condition and it was delivered same day! I'm really happy with this, these cards are random but I'm very happy with what I recieved. I did get quite a few duplicates but no duplicates in a single booster pack. You get 3 holo cards in each booster pack! I am disappointed I didn't get one gangar, But with all the awesome cards I did get I'm so very happy. I even got 3 shiny holographic cards!! I didn't even know pokemon cards came in shiny! The *only* gripe I have was the fact that the featured Mimikyu card came bent, but besides that, everything else was in pristine condition. Packs weren't pre-owned and re-sealed like some reviewers stated and got some great pulls, even from the QR codes. Got two shinies physically and 4 digitally. Worth the price and shipping wait. Decent variety in pokemon, energy, and trainer cards. Would buy again. ... show more
