My daughter is 4 and had somewhat of a difficult time poking the paper/material through the holes. She eventually gave up and lost interest due to it being difficult for her. I, on the other hand, LOVE it! I found it to be fun and calming. I think you get a lot of items for the price. The quality is good, easy to use probably for kids that are 5 and older.
