UPDATE: 3 yrs later and this is still my holy grail duvet cover. I didn’t want a white duvet cover anymore but Pointehaven doesn’t have the colors I want so I ordered elsewhere. I’ve tried several other “supposed” long staple Pima or Egyptian cotton duvet covers but the quality is always subpar (and I highly doubt they’re even cotton bcz they’re hot). I always end up throwing this one back on. The zipper stopped working 1.5 years in tho, but it’s still the most comfy and COOL cover we’ve ever had. So I’m ordering this in another color, teal, and will update on the color once I receive it. I have a split king adjustable bed w/ a 17” mattress (including topper) & I bought the King/Cal King size duvet in bright white and the quality & feel is amazing! It’s softness, feel & sturdiness I expect from 650 TC long thread/Egyptian cotton, very pleased! Very comfy, cool on the skin & I don’t use a top sheet with it, you don’t need one with a duvet. It has ties to secure a comforter that also has ties, or you can tie it around the corner of the comforter which is what I did. Although I’ve always found it’s unnecessary to secure the comforters anyway, and I’ve used duvets for years. Big enough to cover mattress sides, which is why I bought this one in particular bcz oversized duvets hard to find. I washed & dried it on delicate/cold/low heat before using it & it washed up fine, no wrinkles (although it’s cotton so if it wrinkles it’s not the duvets fault just take it out if the dryer right away or iron it if you’re that particular), albeit a little less soft than before. It was soft as butter out of the packaging. I definitely recommend this duvet & I’ll buy more. It was my first Amazon Warehouse purchase so I was nervous, but I was very satisfied! This is a beautiful 100% cotton duvet set. It is soft and luxurious feeling. The color is slightly more blue/silvery grey than the picture, probably due to the sheen of the fabric and the fact that I have it on a dark grey upholstered bed that leans greige.

The duvet cover feels so soft and silky. But very disappointed with the color. I picked bone. The picture displays it as almost white, ivory. The color is way too yellow. Also, the zipper is sticking, and I believe it already broke. Returning it.

Each time it has been laundered approximately 3-4 times it has shrank. It now does not even completely cover the mattress much less the box spring.
