This case is the real the. I gave had it for about a year and dropped my phone multiple times the case always held up. One day months later I place my phone on top of a van and was driving 30-40mph when I heard the phone fallnof the car and saw it hit the ground. When I got my phone from the main highway. It really is a terrific case. It works well with the thumb sensor and it does its job. However, the dust and dirt will show up and if you really enjoy a clean screen protector and a clean appearance on your phone, you're not going to be happy. This only pertains to someone. If it works outdoors, constantly using their phone outdoors, etc. Someone who has to take it out. This is a case that you leave in there and take it out as little as possible. This pixel 8 pro is the 4th device I've used poetic on. I've had excellent results with them. I was fortunate with this one that it arrived at the same time as my new phone so I could install the case before I activated the phone. My previous phone was a pixel 6, so I have previous experience with the screen cover and the fingerprint sensor. I've found with my previous pixel that if it needs cleaned under the screen protector, it would probably be good if you have a new one ready to go because the adhesive on the fingerprint section is difficult to reuse. In my experience, the built in screen protector works so much better than a separate one so it's worth it to me to buy a new case every 9 to 12 months. I wish Poetic gave the option to get the screen portion only or buy with 2 of them in a set. I use the kickstand only occasionally but have never had a problem with one. love this brand and case, however if your a frequent user of phone or stand. or in general are climsy and drop your phone. the button will stop pressin properly (i can feel the wear down afte 2months of frequent use). the stand is hard to get out at times and the small tab it has wears down and breaks easily. the slider wears down and if you drop gour phone frequently it will just pop off the railing and you can put it back but it will most likly break a tab and then become useless. ive been through 3 of these cases in the last year alone. and im done with the cycle of replacing my case constantly ... show more

I've used this model case on my OnePlus 9 pro and bou a n one for my Pixel 8 pro. The fit is Great and you have the option to use the cover with or without the screen protector. I've used the cover without the screen protector because both phones have Gorilla Glass. Another feature is the kickstand that is on the back of the case . The lock tab on my OnePlus phone wore off so the kickstand wouldn't stay closed but it works well. I've dropped my OnePlus phone several times on hard surfaces and never had any damage. The button placements are perfect along with the camera opening that also gives good protection from dropping. ... show more

Phone case so awesome I bought a second one within the very next day Pixel 8 pro fingerprint and biometric works phenomenal without needing sensitivity settings increased. I won't use the kick stand as I have two phone mounts on both cases (one for bicycle using quad lock attachment and one for the magnet for the car mount) I have never in the 15 years I've had smart phones and phone. Cases discovered a phone case that gives you the option to choose between two front cover cases If you want fully enclosed or bumper surrounding the phone where u can utilize your own screen protector. This is my second case from this company. The quality is consistent. The case feels comfortable in my hands. The installation is fairly simple, however in my honest opinion, I feel the case stand could be improved upon. It takes some effort to slide it open. Thankfully it stays open when in use, but my issue is the durability of the case stand. My last one broke easily on a different phone model, but the case stand for my current phone seems to be a bit thicker. Despite that, I bought this case for the toughness, not the stand. I have dropped my old phone numerous of times and it survived each and every fall!! I hope the same applies with this case and phone. Only time will tell. Hope this review helps! ... show more
