I was very impressed with the quality of this kit. It comes with every single thing you could need to get started and is very versatile in its recording options. The ability to use this easily with a phone is one of my favorite features. The sound quality was good for the price. Definitely don't expect anything too crazy out of a kit this cheap, but I definitely think it's well worth the price. For anyone with a bit more experience with audio equipment, this isn't going to offer all the features and flexibility that comes with more advanced equipment, but for a total beginner this is an excellent kit. ... show more

This is a great product for a weekly podcast. We especially like it for the portability as it is so easy to pack up and travel with us on flights. Great sound quality, easy, to understand and friendly service.

    • Plastic and Metal connections do not go together.
I like the quality of the mic and the audio box. The articulating arm is basically junk. The mic holder stripped where it attaches to the swivel bolt in under a day with just basic tightening. The turnkey that holds the nut to tighten down the swivel bolt has come loose from the nut and won't tighten. The plastic insert where the arm goes into the base clamp is complete junk. It doesn't support the arm at all so there is constant wobbling. It (the plastic insert) is disintegrating fast where the tightening bolt screws down on it. The whole articulating arm mounting brackets are badly designed with cheap plastic parts making it useless. Even if you get it to work, chances are it will fall apart after a few uses. To be clear, I was very gentle during assembly since I know for a fact, plastic and metal connections are a failure waiting to happen, and it happened. The mic itself is great. Records clear and sounds nice once the audio box is adjusted to ones desire. The audio box is good too. Works for a two person podcast and has plenty of sound effects to insert into your casts as wanted or needed. I've contacted the seller to see if they will correct the issues. If so, the rating will definitely go up in thier favor. ... show more

Sound quality was poor and the sound card amounted to a bunch of silly sound effects
