POC's Kortal Race MIPS Helmet is what enduro and trail riders need to not sweat the climbs and stay cool between race stages. A detachable helmet peak can be adjusted, and rear ventilation holes are shaped so sunglasses can be stored securely. The helmet integrates seamlessly with POC's Ora goggles, and the goggle straps are designed to leave ventilation holes uncovered.

With a little time under my belt with this beautifully crafted helmet, now is as good a time as any to review it. This Poc helmet truly does look and feel perfect in my humble opinion. Why? Ergonomics, fit, esthetic, and most of all comfort whether on a short or long ride. I initially was down because my goggle-stlye riding glasses didn't quite fit under the helmet... that was until I remembered the adjustment dial on the back. I opened it up a little and, voilà, no more problem. Some may say these helmets are too pricy. I say you absolutely get what you pay for and what you'd be paying for is a helmet that is in a lane of its own. There is a lot more I could say, but won't. Normally helmets hurt my head after a few hours riding as my head is large and a bit oblong. No problem with this one, extremely comfortable and fit well.

Really like this helmet, covers a lot of the head and ventilation is far superior to the 5 year old 661 helmet I had. MIPS to boot!! Initially it felt a bit narrow but once locked in it feels good. If you have a big head do some sizing research.

This helmet is amazing. It is lighter than I expected and fits great. I like the features to add emergency contact information using NFC. It does feel like POC goes above and beyond with R&D.

Although I love the color the fit was off. The sizing was correct, but it pinched terribly at the temples. I tried loosening the tension but then it defeated the purpose. I had to return it as much as I wanted to keep it. Otherwise as far as I could tell, it is well made. It just didn't fit me right. ... show more

Very comfortable helmet and not too nerdy looking. I usually wear a skate park helmet so this has been a massive improvement as far as ventilation. The fit is quite nice although the chin strap seems to be a little short so if you have a big ole double chin you might need something larger. Overall this helmet has been incredible! I will consider buying a full face from POC due to how comfy and light this one is. ... show more

Luckily, I can’t report on how much this helmet delivers on what it promises. But note that the shell is thick and reaches (for me) far into the face, re just above the eyes. When pointing the bike down on a steeper descend, this is enough to obstruct my further-out-distance vision to really make me ride blind almost and makes me comparably slow. The gloss white does the rest with reflexion I guess? I also have a Bell Sixer that I do not have the issue with. ... show more
