Been looking for a comfortable pair of MTB knee pads for several months. None of my local bike shops carry anything so I've been buying/trying/sending back several pairs of knee pads for last couple months. Tried, Kali, Least, and gform rugged. Nothing felt comfortable. These POC pads had great revie
ws but we're pricey. I bit the bullet and ordered two pairs. My measurements put me at a medium. Some say they run small so I bought a medium and large. I'm 6', 165 with thin MTB legs. The mediums fit the best but I probably could have gotten away with the largest. Not a huge difference. They came in a really nice box. Material and construction seems high quality. They are very flexible/pliable.They not too bulky but seem like they would protect well in a crash. I slipped them on and my first impression was, wow, I think I finally found what I was looking for. Then I stood up. Oh man, what's pinching my shin. The pads have a rigid, rolled cup like end at the bottom towards the shin area. It puts significant pressure on the bony part of your upper shin. I thought maybe I could wear them around for a couple hours, they would warm up and feel better. A couple hours later, they were hurting worse. I jumped on my bike and did a few laps around the block. They didn't really slip but there was a pinch in both shins and also some pinching at the back of the knees. No way could I wear these on a 15-20 mile ride. Next I tried the large size. shin pinch was a little less, but still a pinch in the back of the knees. Also the pad had some slop and would probably move in a crash. I wasn't going to gamble$150.00 that they would improve in time. Sadly, both pairs are going back My current pads are race face ambush. They were super comfortable out of the box but are 3 years old and need to be replaced. They have minor issues. A bit bulky but protect well with several good crashed on them. Also the sticky part of the velcro is on the outside and wears your shorts where they rub. I guess my search continues.

Most comfortable pads I have ever owned. They flex well and don’t feel hot at all. Great product!

Perfect! Worth the price.

These kneepads are well-constructed. My long pants easily fit over them and they stay put with no sliding while riding my bicycle. In fact, I don't even notice them while riding or walking other than, being winter now, my knees feel pleasantly warmer while I'm riding. I'm 5 ft 11 in, weighing in @ 18
0 lbs and the Large size fits fine. These are the first kneepads I've used, and factoring in how valuable my knees are, I decided to cut no corners. I ride a mountain bike around town more than off road. But taking a fall in an urban setting is not less risky, you're pretty much guaranteed to be impacting asphalt, pavement or a curb at 12 mph or greater. Off road, you might be more likely to impact soft leaves and soil. Additionally, being but a few years shy of 60, one begins to appreciate how costly injuries can be, and how you don't heal as quickly as you used to.

Order ONE SIZE UP ! Run small!!!!
Color: Uranium Black
Size: Large
They look well made. However, the size should be ordered ONE SIZE UP, they run small!!! I ordered large. However, I was almost an inch below the chart specs on large. Extra large could have been OK. The large is a little tight. Hoping that they will stretch as I get to use them more. I can bend my kn
ees without discomfort. I have yet been able to ride with the. I hope this was helpful good luck.

Not exactly designed for shorter people in mind, but still a great knee pad.

Size: Medium
I got these for my fiance(5'3") and we shifted back and forth between the medium and small. the small was far too small as the elastic material is a tube and not a conical tube. So it doesn't take into account thigh size vs calf size. The sizes are a little weird. the knee cup fits perfectly when you
have a bent knee position, which is expected for mountain biking. When standing straight up they kinda bunch up. All in all they work great, just aesthetically weird. I(6'1") have a pair of VPD 2.0s that I love as well, we both fit in a medium on the Joint VPD but she fits in a small on the VPD2.0. If you get these size for about 3 inches above your knee cap on your thigh and ignore the calf measurements.

Super comfortable and light. The breathable material keeps my knees cool. The rubber lining keeps the knee pads from fall and after a few hours of riding, the knee pad is exactly where I put it. Haven’t crashed yet but the honey comb padding feels like it’ll hold up on any crash. Great product

Comfortable protect. Keepers
Color: Uranium Black

First pair of knee pads so nothing to compare against but I think these are great and plan to wear them every ride. A little bit of bunching for me behind the knee but not uncomfortably so. Once riding I forget I am wearing the pads even on long climbs. And they always stay in place.

Las mejores knee pad en mi opinion. Luego de tratar otras marcas populares aquí en Amazon definitivamente estas ofrecen el mejor balance entre Comfort y protección incluso mejor que las VPD Air.

I have only had one other pair of knee pads & they were Fox brand. Those did the job, but the knee area was really bulky. I wanted something slim & didn't hinder pedaling. I'm NOT a down hill extreme biker. I just like to ride trails & have fun. At first these kept slipping but oddly enough, after a
few rides they started holding their place. I still have to pull them up every so often but not enough to annoy me. I get on & off the bike a lot so that might be why. I'd definitely buy these again. Love how they're not bulky either. So far so good & I have about 15 rides in them!
