  • Nice Retro
Light enough and fits well. Looks good too. Bought this for my orange road/crit bike and a black one for all others. I’ve accumulated a stable of bikes over 40 years.

  • Comfortable and visible (AVIP)
Started biking again but decided I needed a helmet. I have a black bike and almost went for the black version of this helmet to match but decided on the high visibility version for safety reasons. Fits well and has a POC version of MIPS inside that supposedly makes it even safer...once your head starts smacking things. Ventilates well and the adjuster on the back snugs it up with or without a hat on. Wish it had a visor ... show more

  • Pricey but nice helmet for this long oval head
Overall a very nice and very pricey helmet. I’m writing this review to cover a few things that aren’t mentioned very much. To start with, it’s a very comfortable and well ventilated helmet. I have a 59cm (7 3/8”) head that is a bit “long oval” in shape. The size medium Omne helmet fits about as well as I could hope. This helmet also has a couple reflective sticker strips, one on the front of the helmet and one on the back. It’s not much but it’s appreciated. It has the “Spin” pads that minimize rotational forces to the brain in the event of an accident. I prefer Spin to MIPS because MIPS has a tendency to make creaking noises in my helmet as well as arguably take up head space within the helmet. For example, I tried on two Giro Synthe helmets a few months ago, one with MIPS and one without. The one WITH MIPS was surprisingly too tight on my head. The one without MIPS was a perfect fit. With POC’s Spin technology, it is merely gel pads that replace the normal pads. If anything, the gel pads add comfort along with the increased safety. Also, the straps do not catch my stubble as much as previous helmets have. My old POC Crane and Bern helmets were notorious for that. The Omne uses a thinner fabric as well as a little sleeve that slides along the strap. I believe the sleeves main purpose is to hold the extra strap slack, but it also doubles as a chin “rest.” The only thing that would really improve this helmet for me is a removable ball cap style visor. Not only are these incredibly functional for various kinds of weather, they also go a long way toward changing up the style/vibe of a helmet. They add an instant “urban commuter” look that makes the helmet seem a bit more casual and a bit more..... “cool”? The only reason I am not rating this helmet 5 stars is the price. It’s fairly expensive compared to other helmets on the market and for that reason alone I’d have a hard time recommending it to family and friends. If it were half the price, it’d be an obvious 5 star helmet. ... show more

  • So light and comfortable that I forget I’m wearing it.
Exactly what I was looking for. So lightweight and comfortable I forget I’m wearing it. Good ventilation and looks good as well. I’ve had multiple compliments on the style.

  • Great helmet
Replacing an old giro atmos. I love this helmet’s styling and the straps fit perfectly around my ears. Also good airflow and very comfy on its first 40 mile hilly ride.

  • Excellent 🚴🏻 Bike Helmet
Excellent, well packed, just use it on my Wednesday bike Roll, very light weight and I felt secured

  • Strap design sucks, helmet looks awesome!
I love the color, design, and shape, but the straps are horribly placed. The clasp rests in between my Adam’s Apple and throat. I’m super bummed, as I was super anxious waiting for this helmet.
