    • Nice Features; Seems Well Made... But NO Support?!?
I liked this stereo... at first. It's got a screen that will adjust up and down, and even swivel up, down, left, and right, so you can get it angled/positioned just right. I installed mine in a 1998 Chevy S10 pickup. I also installed new speakers (Sony 4x6's in the dash, and Pioneer 6.5's in the doors). It sounds only a little better than stock right now, but I admit I did not install an amplifier since my cab is so small (I did buy a powered subwoofer to install behind the center console, which I will install this weekend and likely update this, as I'm sure things will sound much better then). I like that it works with my iPhone so well (Spotify, JW Library original songs, navigation, phone calls). My biggest complaint here is the complete lack of support. They've a Facebook page... that's it! No site to download the firmware update! There's paperwork stating I need to e-mail them for updates, and I've got to provide proof that I bought it on Amazon, but that seems suspect to me (a company that does such just wants your e-mail; nobody's going to sit there and read hundreds of e-mails to simply send firmware updates to customers). It's also made in China, so, as such in most cases, the English grammar on the screen is oddly off in some areas/screens. I'm also worried since I've read many reviews about it failing within a few months... I will certainly post back if mine does. I think this is a gamble, folks. Oh, and they seem to try to lure you into giving them your e-mail by stating if you ask for an update, they'll allow you to set the background and bootup screens to whatever you want. Meh. I loathe gimmicks and have had it with spam. UPDATE: Well, it's been a few weeks now and it does sound much, much better after I installed that subwoofer. I've not had any issues with this radio so far, and I do use my iPhone with it every time I crank the truck up. We've had some pretty hot days here, and so the unit has gotten hot, but it still plays and operates properly. I guess my only complaint still is their lack of support since I can't seem to get the supposed firmware/driver update (I'd like to change the background to something other than the few stock images), and I also don't like how I can't seem to reboot it (for example, when Spotify goes stupid, as it does from time to time, and I have to shut the truck off to power the radio off... maybe I'll add a power switch soon). ... show more

    • Actually terrible, quit working in under 3 months
The media could not be loaded. This unit has quit working right outside of its return window. Today the screen started getting lines buzzing across it and the next thing I know the screen is just black. I initially left a positive review for this product because the company offered me $10 back. The music has started skipping lately, the unit gets hot and has always produced a slight humming. I have triple checked the install. Video player doesn't work right even on MP4 files, USB music however works perfectly. Spotify and AU connect automatically but Spotify doesn't sound as good as USB. Very shamed this quit working like it did for no reason. Now it just has a black screen 🤬 ... show more

    • Very nice upgrade from previous stereo
I wanted a multifunction stereo for my truck. One that had auxiliary media input, Android Auto, decent EQ, screen mirroring, backup camera, eventual front camera, steering wheel control accessible. This stereo met all of the requirements for me. Installation went fairly well, and having multiple outputs for speakers and amps was a very big plus. While this unit may not be the fastest head unit available, with terabytes of memory and blazing fast processing, it does do what it says it does. I hop into my truck, turn the key on, stereo starts up with the basic splash screen. I eventually will update this. Within a few seconds of turning on my vehicle, the wireless Android Auto syncs up and I have my nav screen along with Audible on the side. Once I figured out my Steering Wheel Controls adapter, bought separately, I was able to program the buttons and use them as I normally would. Next, the EQ is pretty straight forward, but, does allow for above-average equalization of the music and speakers. I do wish that there were better markers for where the sliders snap to, as this would make sliding them to a specific notch easier. That, or have a number value pop up to know where the slider snap points are. The radio function is decent. Mt same criticism is that the dial function, where the stations would land on a line, would be easier to navigate if there were better snap markers. The digital station IDs do come in, but, the data for songs and artists do not display. Screen Mirroring does work, though, there is a pretty decent lag between the phone and stereo. Even with a authentic Samsung USB-C cable, it has a 1 second lag. Overall, I do enjoy this stereo system and would like to see future updates that allow for even more personalized screens, menus and startup splashes. ... show more

So far i have not had a problem yet.. Im still learning all the features.. It has a lot of features I had to bypass my factory amp to be able to put my own amp on my door speakers and i have to say it woke my radio up by bypassing the amp im still going to run another amp so my bass isnt overpowering but it really sounds good just by itself ... show more
