Features

  • Package Details - PLYDOLEX wooden paint organizer contains a paint brush tray, 24 small holes of 1 inch diameter, 20 medium holes of 1.37 inches, 12 large holes of 1.57 inches and two extra large perforations - these slots give space for 2 fl oz, 10 ml, 12 ml, 17 ml, 18 ml, 24 ml, 59 ml and 60 ml paint bottles for our plywood paint rack. Also our paint holder contains 2 drawers for other tubes or tools you may need and 4 painting stands for your minis.
  • Durability of Plywood - our paint bottle and paint brush holder is made of real plywood, which grants higher longevity than MDF, HDF, chipboard, particle board or any other kind of pressed sawdust for our mini paint organizer, which allows this paint storage rack to keep your Citadel paints in order and quick access for years and years, even if there is a need to move the art supplies organizer from one place to another.
  • Easy to Assemble, No Glue Needed - this Warhammer 40K compatible wooden paint storage organizer with a paint brush holder space goes with a step-by-step manual to set it up. Our wooden shelf organizer does not need glue to get it together - it has sturdier and more mistake-forgiving wooden clamps instead.
  • Lots of Space - our organizer for art supplies has a removable upper holder section, if the bottles do not fit perfectly. If you need a place to store some big bottles, like paint removers, there is a shelf on the back of our wooden rack. Also, this paint station has 2 drawers, one of which has a removable 8-part divider, to keep all your small supplies in place. And, there is a paint brush tray above the drawers, so that the brushes and similar tools and accessories are in quick access.
  • Convenient Design - our miniature paint holder is designed to organize your hobby work station by putting your paint bottles, airbrush droppers, brushes, paint removers and any other tools and supplies in simple and strict order, so that your painting process could get easier and more pleasant.

  • Great storage solution for paints - works with Army Painter
Style: Vallejo 105 holes
I was never 100% sold on these balsa-wood looking paint holders. They looked really thing and fragile, like a stiff wind would just knock it all over. There's also fewer models for Vallejo paints, and none for Army Painter (which makes up most of my current paint collection). I needed a new storage solution, it was time to stop keeping these in the boxes and have something nice looking that is also easy to access when you're looking for specific colors, effects, washes, tones, etc. After a lot of internal back and forth, I went with the Plydolex Vallejo Paint Organizer. Even though it's specifically designed for the 17ml Vallejo bottles, I took a chance since the Army Painter bottles are just slightly bigger at 18ml. The Army Painter pots fit well, but not perfectly. When the product arrived I was excited to put it together, and to be honest I was a little intimated by the number of pieces and the sub-par instructions. Once I got started though, the assembly was seamless and quite easy to figure out. If you've got experience with puzzles, LEGO, or IKEA this build will not trouble you. The wood is thin and light, matching my expectations. I will tell you, when filled with pots and items, it does get heavy. The wood interlocks into slots and some pieces need to use what I call "keys" that further lock some pieces into place for secure stability. Once fully assembled, the piece is sturdier than I expected., and quite large. You may need to measure the area or space where you plan on putting this organizer before you buy, but definitely try to make it work - not only is it functional, it is pretty. I really appreciate the top shelf made to hold misc things, it's where I put several of my Citadel items, and the two small drawers (the organizer comes with optional drawer dividers) really help put this organizer over the top. Easily worth the money, and when I expand my paint collection there are compatible side-units for even more paint-holding solutions. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Great value compared to similar products. A staple for painting minis.
Style: Citadel 87 holes
No more giant ziplock bag of paint! Assembly was easy enough. If you can build Warhammer, you can build this thing pretty quick. Stores every brand of Warhammer paint I have, and the top shelf is perfect for rattle cans. The paintbrush holders are meh. There’s nothing for them to really rest on so if they’re too small, they just fall through. It’s sturdy enough as long as you’re not picking it up. The way this assembles, it’s really not meant to be moved while loaded up with paints. If you’re not extremely careful, it definitely will come apart. Overall, it functions very well as a stationary paint storage solution, and makes great use of space. Stacking paint vertically to give you a lot of storage for its footprint. Good value compared to similar products. ... show more

  • Nice design
Style: Citadel/Vallejo 74 holes
My paints were stacked in a storage bin drawer that was not very accessible. This put them in accessible and organizational reach. It is well optimized - giving access to many paints and supplies with the least amount of space. Looking at other storage options, they were too bulky and cumbersome. Assembly was easy, and if you watch the video on the Amazon product page, is straight forward. I find it sturdy enough. I assembled in another room without glue, assorted the paints into it and then moved the whole thing into my work space. If someone wanted they could glue it together for increased stability. The little figure/item holders do fall apart and need to be glued together. I personally have to add something behind it - currently a piece of cardboard (from the shipping box); because it is up against a window and I don't want the sun ruining the paints and glue. ... show more

  • Nice, but has some flaws
Style: Vallejo 105 holes
Overall a decent product with a few flaws I'd encourage the manufacturer to honestly look at as only minor tweaks would be needed. Pros: + Fairly simple to put together, even though the instructions in one step are quite confusing and need some study. + "robust" in a "clipped together" way. Robust enough, esp. if you line several of these against each other. + diverse storage options + Looks swanky Cons: - there are brush holder holes at the top that are, honestly, just silly and I don't think the designer owns a brush. The bottom row are large holes for thicker brushes, the top row are pin pricks for ... toothpicks? Narrow hobby brushes - even my narrowest of narrowest brushes - don't get close to fitting in these holes. They're just ... silly. Need to be a tad larger. - the corner unit BOTTOM paint brushes are silly beyond words, because while there is a row of holes for standard brushes (and a row for tooth picks or something), the brush holder slants forwards ... so the bottom of the brush goes into the unit and backwards ... into, literally, the void. There's nothing back there or below the brush to 'catch' the brushes, so they, quite literally, slide away and out through the hole and into the unit itself. A simple strip of wood back there would serve to "catch" the brush and help keep them inplace. Without it the bottom brush holder is laughable and clearly has never been tested by the designer: They drilled holes, went "good enough", but never noticed the small holes were too small, and the large holes allowed brushes to be gobbled up by their own apparatus. Silly, really. - For the straight paint unit (not corner piece) the main paint holder mechanism are shelves with holes (the "holder") and the shelf underneath then has it's own holes and a shelf for supporting the paint pots above. But the standard paint pot (vallejo, game color, reaper, etc) all end up sitting a little too high in their holes ... like the supporting shelf below is maybe just 5-10mm too high; a little lower and the hole above would hold the paint pot better. As-is, the paint pot tip precariously, like we're on the edge of them spilling out. - the corner unit has a step of clipping together than requires some bending of the wood and faith in it not breaking. I'm heavy handed, and it made even me nervous. Otherwise, they look fine and dandy. ... show more
