I use this net for kayak fishing and am impressed with the size of the opening and pole length. It has landed several decent sized catfish, a striper, and a small pike so far and is holding up well. The net has fallen off my boat a few times and does float, though I do attach a stretch cord to the net's handle loop with plenty of reach to still land fish. Great collapsable floating net, especially for the price. Traveled with it in a suitcase. Used it in salt and fresh water with no issues. Would probably get the extendable one next time.
