The media could not be loaded. I bought these landing nets for a different purpose then what it was made for. My reason for buying these were because I needed to minimize what went into my fishing backpack for surf fishing. I’m getting older, and unfortunately through the hard work throughout my work life, my body isn’t what it was because of injuries and just plain old - getting the dad bod.. I have shovels, pitchforks, sand rakes and so on. Tried it all. So I bought these because they fold up and they were $12.99 (when I bought them). I needed a way to scoop the sand crabs out without having to lug around anything heavy and be able to move freely and comfortably, up and down the beach. Well if you’re needing the same thing, here you are! It does not feel cheap and flimsy! It’s actually quite sturdy and solid. The mesh net is rubber/plastic coated. It’s super lightweight and it folds down to nothing! You get two of these for a steal!! Great product, great price! I’m sure it’ll scoop and hold the fish you catch (let’s not be ridiculous and assume it’ll withstand the weight of Godzilla) but I’m sure it’ll do great at what it was made for - the undertow was strong the day of the video, and it held up, on multiple occasions!

Nice looking net , rubber coated , nice design , but handle slides in and out and you can twist the lock all day and it still won’t lock down. Shame because otherwise nice net. A little on the heavy side. Update, I finally got the handle to engage and lock in place. Gave it another star.

What a great net! In reviewing the new Blue Floating Fishing Net, I would summarize that Plussino took an already amazing, quality, durable fishing net, and step it up another notch. From a company that is currently making its way into the fishing community, it is great to know that they are willing to listen to its customers and making the necessary changes to their products. With the combined efforts equals quality products. The new Blue Floating Fishing Net combines the already study handle build with a mixture of carbon fiber and fiber glass with a now floating net head. The net has a very similar look to the current model, but now two float tubes added to two of the three triangular sides. With the added floats, there is no need to worry about the net sinking or getting dropped of your kayak. The net itself is made from a nice snagless material that is very fish friendly. From tip to toe the whole net compresses to fit conveniently in your boat, kayak, car, or anywhere else compact. Overall this is a well product. From company to consumer, Plussino has listened and made a top quality product for any fishermen needing a fish net. Now with all the positivity and praise that I finished giving on this net, time for the one flaw in the near perfect net. I would say the one flaw is in the screw shaft extender on the shaft itself. It is located just underneath the belt clip and due to this, it makes it very difficult to tighten or loosen. Beings I really like this net, there is a way around this problem. My plan is to unscrew the two screws that hold the belt clip in place. Once that is removed, I will be able to extend and reduce the length of the shaft much easier. Again, this is a very well made product and allows for pulling in this fish off the bank, canoe, kayak, or anywhere else that a net is needed.

I quite like this fishing net... it extends and collapses very easily, and I like the material the net is made from. It's big enough to land a good size catfish or bass, and due to it's weight, is easy to carry around. I see in some of the other reviews some people have mentioned issues with the handle and net. For my own experience, I have not had any such issues. This net could be used by a child, teenager, or adult, and you shouldn't have any trouble getting fish into it. Good size without being cumbersome, light weight but strong enough for fish, it makes for an easy accessory to take to the creek. I'm not sure how it would hold up to big fish, say 5lbs and up, but should function just fine for trips to a river or creek. I'm happy with the purchase, and love how easy it is to set up.

I bought this as a kayak fishing net due to its small size and fold-ability. Sadly, the quality is not the best so it's already becoming tough to fold up. Overall it's not terrible, but I upgraded to something a bit more sturdy and reliable after about 10 trips.
