This cardigan is a nice accent piece. It is not heavy at all and nor is it too flimsy. I have washed it several times already and has retained its shape. Runs a little on the smaller side. I would go a size up if you are on the "thick" side.

This fits true to size but is a shorter/boxier cut. It's not cropped, it will hit right at your waist, not above. and it's a wider cut, so I did not find it particularly flattering. The fabric is light weight and decent quality. I got the black and I think it will likely fade after a few wears/washes. Okay for a casual cover up.

This sweater works best for summer months where less fabric is needed. The fabric itself is not that soft, it's very polyester feeling. But it's also extremely stretchy so I suppose that's the tradeoff. I hope that means the neckline won't stretch out. I am a solid 16 and the 1X is just snug enough although it's not that long so when you raise your arms, so does the sweater. I think I will be leaving it unbuttoned and using it as more of a shrug. For this, it works well.

The pink sweater is really cute. I'm grateful to the reviewers who recommended ordering a size up. That was so very necessary. I generally wear medium and sometimes small depending on the item. I ordered a large. It originally fit okay but I'm used to my cardigans fitting more loosely. I think this is designed to be stretchy with a more clingy fit. That type of style may look great on a super fit tween, but it's just not me. Also, it recommended hand wash only. That's just not me either. I don't have the time or patience for fussy clothes. I put it in a mesh laundry bag and ran it through the delicate cold wash cycle and then tumble dried it on a lower setting. It held up fine except that I think it shrank a bit. Maybe I should have ordered the x-large to allow for shrinking. I don't mean to rate this as a bad sweater because I think it can be beautiful for the right person. That person just isn't me.
