My daughter was 4 months old when she started sleeping in her own room. I was blessed with a great sleeper, as long as she has a few things to sooth her! We have a white noise cloud, but I wanted something a bit more for when she is feeding and being rocked, or for her to look at while she tries to go to sleep. Projectors are amazing for this, it keeps her interest without distracting her to the point it is disruptive and makes the room look so beautiful. Anyway, I knew Amazon had TONS of these projectors from china. They are all kind of similar, with a few tweaks depending on the seller. I bought 5 on here to compare and this was the one I kept! #1. It is cute and simple. Not too big, not too small. # 2. The battery life is good. While this will not run all night if they sleep a solid 12 hours, it will run for HOURS. Nowadays I use the 30 min timer on it so it is off by the time she is asleep... this lets me use it for 1-2 weeks before having to recharge. #3 the projection films are cute! This light had one of the better sets, some are like half christmas or look like clip art. # 4 the music selection is not bad on this one! Most have basic free music, but this one was naughty and you get a few good songs... It has a tin music box sound which is meh, but you get things like Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, memories from cats, o Christmas tree, a short version of let it go, the theme from Miyazaki's “Laputa in the sky”, and a few others you will know, but I cant recall the names. This one playing the Laputa theme was a huge bonus for me #5 the projection distance on this is pretty good for a cheap little player. I have it on a stick on mini shelf by the crib so it projects her wall, ceiling, and it swirls around the room. It looks blurry once you get about 5’ away, but it makes the whole room dreamy! #6 It makes a good night light for middle of the night feeding/changes. They look at it, not you. #7 Plenty of settings. You can dim these lights, timer, several color modes, music on or off, volume. I keep it on the Lowest brightness setting in multi color because it is fairly bright and busy while I feed her, and switch to the blue with 30 min timer when she gets put down for bed. I rarely use the music, it is a bit loud even on low My only complaints after using it 3 solid months so far is that getting the bunny lid off is a pain in the butt, but as of right now I never use the lid (thats for nightlight mode) AND the place you put the film has this little plastic ring that pops off a bit easy if you fumble with it... but it will mostly live on a shelf so meh. Final complaint is the remote is a bit wack since it is a cheap random factory one. Some settings are flipped, but you get used to it. Dont overpay for these btw. Some sellers list them for much more, but they are worth $20 or so. ... show more

Super cute . My kids are 2 and love it it helps with the nighttime routine. But the remote doesn’t really work 🥴😑. Nonetheless it lights up and plays cute melodies . You don’t really see the pics on the ceiling clearly but my kids look at the device and fall asleep.

I use this for breastfeeding, and it works amazingly. It's not too bright, not too dim, and the battery life is great. I think I left it on once for three days straight before it finally died.
