I have been using this for awhile now and have had no issues with it. The slow start feature keeps the compound from flying off the panel and it holds a steady rpm under load.

I’ve been using the PLS03A Buffer Polisher for a couple of weeks, and it’s a decent tool overall. The 12.5-amp motor provides plenty of power for most polishing tasks, and the variable speed settings, ranging from 1000 to 3000 rpm, make it versatile for different surfaces. The dual-action design is effective at reducing swirl marks, and the ergonomic grip makes it comfortable to hold during extended use. However, it does have a few downsides. This polisher is a solid tool for the price and performs well for both beginners and those who like to handle their own car detailing. The motor feels powerful and steady, and the variable speed settings make it easy to adjust depending on whether you’re buffing, polishing, or applying wax. It’s not overly heavy, which makes it easier to use for longer periods without fatigue. The detachable handle is a nice touch for getting into tighter areas, and it’s easy to swap out pads. The results on the paint are smooth and professional-looking once you get the hang of the motion. It definitely speeds up the process compared to hand polishing. The only downsides are that it can get a bit warm during longer sessions, and the included pads aren’t the highest quality, so you might want to upgrade to better ones. The noise level is also a bit higher than expected, but not unbearable. Iit’s a reliable, well-built machine that delivers great results for the cost. With a few small improvements in accessories and cooling, it could easily be a five-star product.

Powerful random orbit. 1500 watts is about a 2 hp motor so it is not lacking power. It has an assortment of buffing pads including the wool pad and it also has sanding pads. With the random orbit action, I plan on really trying this out. I have made a couple of river epoxy tables and having a big sander that can hog some material will be great. Also it is variable speed and it is digital and comes back on where you last ran it. I like that but then again a simple knob and pot has worked flawlessly for years without all the fancy electronics! so hopefully it will last. I like the fact they gave an extra set of brushes with it. I like that it has the button to lock the shaft and change wheels instead of fiddling with two wrenches. You can use the loop handle or the straight one on either side or you can use none. I like the straight ones because if you need to move it or remove it, you can with the turn of the handle if you are to get into a tight spot & it is fast and easy. The loop handle you will need the provided hex key to remove. Overall it is really nice. I do have one I purchased a couple of years ago for my 53 Chevy truck but I like this one better. One thing I would have liked like to have seen is a tool bag to place it in when not in use. My other one has a bag it came with and I like it because you can keep everything together but more importantly you can keep debris and dirt from getting into the buffing pads that can cause scratches. So if you are new to this investing in a tool bag or box to keep it might be a good idea or at least store your pads in a zip lock or hang them up so nothing can get on them. Overall I think this is a nice bag and gives a person lots of options.

I've only buffed a few cars in my lifetime and each time I did it by hand. Using this tool is the first time I've buffed a car with equipment. We have a 13 year old car that has sat outside since day one and is riddled with hail damage - perfect car to experiment on. I haven't spent a lot of time with this buffer on that car, but so far this makes quick work of it. Plenty of power and plenty of ways to hold the buffer. It arrived well packaged and damage free. Unpacking and getting the buffer ready to use is a breeze. I do wish it came with a few more pads. Mine came with nearly a dozen 120 grit sandpaper pads but a limited amount of the pads you need to polish and buff a car. Would have liked that to have been the other way around.
