I purchased this as a christmas gift for my daughter 2 years ago and not only did she love it, but so did all of the other kiddos in my family! This toy has held up to all the rough handling and play. The peppa pig song is still loud and clear; going strong as well, it has not needed any new batteries so far. The colors are great neutral colors -eye catching but calm colors. My nieces and nephews are all in their teens and they play and spin on it too so its okay for bigger kids as well if the centerpiece is taken off. Its easy to store too. Not sure why sit and spins are so expensive. I’d been wanting one for my kids for awhile. The first time I purchased one was from a different brand and had flashy lights and sounds. Straight out the box it was leaking battery acid. So I took my time and did some more careful research before landing on a different one. Took a chance with this one because the price was right. And lo and behold my ridiculously tall for their age children are both able to use this and they use it often. It didn’t come with batteries which is fine. And it was very easy to put together. The Peppa Pig theme music plays - the instrumental version- but it isn’t too obnoxious and the sound level is just right.
