This things works great but it Is time consuming. I’m sure there is a technique to it to speed things up. I hemmed a khaki and two jeans and it looks amazing. Sorry no photos you will have to just trust me. It durable to. I wouldn’t use it to widen or slim down pants because it’s not that durable. Take that to an alteration person ... show more

I tried to use the product to hem some curtains and to fix a bra strap that had unfolded. I was first disappointed because when I opened the box there was only one bottle of hem, mend, fix not the two that were clearly described. Then when I went to use it the iron heated up a bit but not strong enough for the fix to work more than a couple hours. I read the directions for a third time and tried again still to no avail. It works on the curtains as long as my cats don't touch it, but anytime I try to wash the bra it falls apart. Definitely not what I expected. Your basic, everyday iron would work a lot better for two reasons. First, you could cover more area at a time and two, it’s definitely way hotter than this heating device. If the glue powder needs high heat in order to melt and adhere the fabric together, then no wonder this thing is a bust. I could get out my iron and test it, but I’m literally over it. Bought the no stitch set and have been trying to find additional glue. Works great have used it on a heavy jacket with a hard to reach rip, held fine. The set comes with small bottle have been looking for replacement because I didn't want to buy another set. The glue seems to hold really well. Price was good arrived quickly.
