I bought this for my five-year-old son as he is a huge play-doh fan. He thought it was the best thing ever! The play-doh cans store in the calendar and can be taken out and put back in so you can play as soon as you open the first days prize. He really liked the sparkle play-doh. A thing to mention though is that we discovered that it came with a playmat tucked into the play-doh compartment on Christmas Eve. I didn't even know it was there until my daughter found it. If you have a young play-doh fan then this is a fantastic Advent calendar for him or her. We will be getting these as gifts for the young ones in our family next year. ... show more

This was a big hit for the entire month of November. My preschooler loves all things play-doh and having a little treat each day was super fun. Now she has quite the array of Christmas themed molds and cutting tools and a rolling pin. This is a great alternative to candy advent calendars.

Our Elf on the shelf brought this for my son on the first of December and he thought it was quite fun. We opened all of the playdoh on the first day, and on each subsequent day you received an accessory. Some were more fun than others. He got some cookie cutters, embossing trays, angel wings, antlers, and more. It was fun for my 2 year old, but he was jeslous of his older brothers calendar which had toys. ... show more

Purchased for the 4 year old but it's been a huge help with indoor play with my two year old without fist fighting breaking out. Plenty of colors to share , and after a few days plenty of tools . Got one for under 20$ so definitely worth it.

My son had an allergic reaction to the chocolate in his advent calendar this year. Since he was so excited about his advent calendar, I scrambled to find a non-edible one that would make him forget the chocolate one. This product succeeded with that and then some.     • Great idea, but don't know if Play-Doh can really do an entire Advent Calendar
This was a cute idea for an Advent Calendar as my son (almost 5 at the time) loves Play-Doh. However, he got bored with the items. I know it's tough- it's play-doh, but he really enjoyed getting tools to play with- the roller, the scissors, things like that...but he was less interested in getting things like antlers or a Christmas hat.
