My 5-year old likes it - he is so excited to find something new every day after completing Santa's tasks. So far we've 'opened' half of the accessories and have already been using them several times (with a clay from another set as Play-Dohs from this set are supposed to be opened on 25th). One of the reviewers complained that all the pieces will be lost by 25th. But I'd say that any set of 25 pieces will be lost by kid without of parents' help - I've given him container on the very first day to store all the pieces and so far it has been working pretty well. We're also practicing counting and memory - recollecting daily the order in which all the pieces were coming. ... show more

I bought this for my five-year-old son as he is a huge play-doh fan. He thought it was the best thing ever! The play-doh cans store in the calendar and can be taken out and put back in so you can play as soon as you open the first days prize. He really liked the sparkle play-doh. A thing to mention though is that we discovered that it came with a playmat tucked into the play-doh compartment on Christmas Eve. I didn't even know it was there until my daughter found it. If you have a young play-doh fan then this is a fantastic Advent calendar for him or her. We will be getting these as gifts for the young ones in our family next year. ... show more

Our Elf on the shelf brought this for my son on the first of December and he thought it was quite fun. We opened all of the playdoh on the first day, and on each subsequent day you received an accessory. Some were more fun than others. He got some cookie cutters, embossing trays, angel wings, antlers, and more. It was fun for my 2 year old, but he was jeslous of his older brothers calendar which had toys. ... show more
