The Fast Flow Valve delivers an extremely high flow rate (50% more than the Standard Valve), self-sealing HyFLO bite valve, large 5/16-inch drink tube, simple one-handed filling, easy cleaning, fast drying, quick access drink tube disconnect, and leak-proof shutoff valve, while the Standard Valve features a 1/4-inch drink tube, easy cleaning, and a low profile design. Got the 1.5L and fit nicely in my backpack with enough room for sandwiches when hiking. Love the valve that allow water to come smoothly. The slider lock is a huge plus, making sure the bag is completely locked and that water won't come off.

Another great product from these guys! Closure is watertight and foolproof. Shut off is handy to prevent leaks when not in use. Very easy to clean and dry.

    • Rugged and gets the job done
Size: 1.5-Liter
Got the 1.5L version of this to replace several no name brands that I had tried that ended up leaking in various ways. Its quite hefty and made of a nice thick material that gives you confidence it won't leak. It seals tight. The hose is very robust and solid, but perhaps a little long(?). No plasticy smell, although I did fill with vinegar and leave it overnight before using the first time (after rinsing it out thoroughly of course). Had trouble getting it into the bladder pocket on a small Osprey Daylite pack as its fairly wide, but once you fill it with water and shake it into place it fits fine. Cleaning seems to be a bit of a problem. Having a hard time getting cleaning liquids to drain through the hose easily to flush it out compared to other types. I also ended up using a jury-rigged device to keep the bag open to help it to dry out when washed. Water droplets seem to want to stay in there forever! Overall a good device and I will probably buy a second one. ... show more

I put this through it’s paces and with the exception of freezing up on an 18 degree morning this past hunting season the hydration unit worked flawlessly in my Badlands 2200 pack. The bladder does not perfectly fit my back, but is very workable. I like the volume of this bladder, especially for my pack which the manufacturer bladder is 2l (you could not find a Badlands bladder this fall, 2020?). I did not have any water leak out of this despite laying the bag down numerous times. Getting the bladder dry after usage and before storage is the only negative, but cannot say that I have had or seen a bladder that was great for that!! ... show more

I loved this bag at first- I loved the valve and the ease of drawing water from it on a tough run when I’m already huffing and puffing. However, within a very short time, the bite valve started leaking. So by the end of my run, I’ve lost valuable electrolyte water and am covered in stickiness to boot. I reached out to the manufacturer and got zero response, which is super disappointing considering the cost of the product. My half marathon is in a week and I’m forced to buy another one, going with a different brand and praying it works. ... show more
