  • as expected, unique scent
I bought this because it has blue tansy as an ingredient and yes, it will tint the whole oil blue. It also has: tangerine, orange, ylang ylang, patchouli and, as mentioned, the blue tansy. Personally, I am using this in a muscle rub blend, similiar to deep blue. I will eventually purchase pure blue tansy, but for now this was a less expensive way to get a little blue tansy in my mix.. Smells different, but the ylang ylang and patchouli are very strong and unique scents. And when you keep smelling it you can detect the citrus undertones. Dropped on baby it is blue. That is due to the blue tansy and is as expected. Dropped on paper it spreads pretty quickly. This leads me to believe these oils are what they are and are pure. It came quickly and my bottle was not leaking. I ended up making a mixture of this, peppermint, wintergreen, & lemongrass and may add turmeric and another blend that has blue chamomile in it, I then added the mixture to jojoba oil to make a rub. I probably will add a little camphor to it to give it some heat and I am going to order a better wintergreen to again, add more heat. I, personally, use essential oils therapeutically. If you are getting them for scent alone, you might be better off with a scentsy candle. Some people expect essential oils to behave like fragrance oils and essential oils are not super strong when diffused. They are light and delicate and that should always be taken into consideration. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, this is what I wanted, and I am happy with what I received. ... show more

  • Very nice aroma, subtle more masculine aroma
I got this essential oil to diffuse around the house for my husband who had recently stopped smoking. This seemed to help calm the anxious fidgety feeling he gets when he is in his first few days of not smoking. I was thinking it would kind of be along the same lines as doterra's console, it smells nothing like console. And it was just me assuming it would smell like that, I had no other reason other than console/chill out sounded very similar. I did not look at the ingredients and compare. I am very happy with my purchase. It is a very nice smell and a little bit more masculine for my husband not take as much notice to the crazy stuff that I'm diffusing lol. I will say, I was a little surprised that it was blue. But this was because of my lack of knowledge. One of the ingredients of this blend is actually blue in color not an added color. Good quality product, very nice aroma. Great money for the item and would certainly buy again ... show more

Wow. Not only did this make me want to lay down, but all 3 of my rambunctious dogs took a nap! Smells great. Chill out is the perfect name, I feel pretty chill.

  • Peaceful and Pleasant
I have become a real fan of Plant Therapy brand essential oils. I have a few other brands thrown into my collection, but I think the Plant Therapy Essential oils are wonderful. They are great quality and reasonably priced. Let it go is a very calming smell. It's not very floral or fruity so it's not a very sweet or heavy scent that hangs in the air. It's a pleasant fragrance that blends into the back ground and leaves your mood more relaxed. What does LET IT GO smell like? I find it to be one of my favorite Essential Oils to use. It's a nice everyday sort of scent. It is listed as Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Sweet Orange and Blue Tansy. I definitely pick up on the orange notes first. The Patchouli is not strong and does not take over the overall fragrance. It lends a nice subtle note to contrast the sweeter and lighter notes. The Blue Tansy and oranges are the most forward in this one. Ylang Ylang is very mild, like the patchouli, and serve to highlight and balance rather than be the main stars. Though Let it Go is a predominately orange scent it is not "orange'y" at all. It's extremely mild and calm inducing. If you are tempted at all then I'd say to go ahead and purchase this one. I can see it being very appealing to most people. It would also serve as a wonderful introduction to blended Essential Oils. ... show more

  • Worst Smell Ever
I purchased this because of how many reviews there were and having a 4.5 rating I figured it was good. I unscrewed the cap to smell, and it was absolutely horrendous. I figured maybe it just wasn't for me but someone else might enjoy. I had 4 other coworkers smell who also love essential oils and all of them said it was disgusting. I tried in a diffuser to see if maybe it would be better, and I had the worst headache after 5 minutes. Sending back ... show more

  • Not my favorite
I'm a huge fan of Plant Therapy oils, but this one left me wanting a little more. I felt the scent wasn't that strong, and didn't last as long as other PT oils do. I also felt like it was a confusing mix of scents. It's definitely not bad, and I could see others loving this oil. Still a great value. It's calming, and better smelled directly instead of being diffused. ... show more

  • The aroma is glorious!
Chill out from Plant Therapy is one of my new favorite scents! I originally started to use when my daughter was sick and having trouble sleeping. This helped her to wind down and fall asleep when I put it in her diffuser. I then started diffusing in my office to help with my anxiety and let me tell you, my office would smell like a tranquil spa. Every who walked into my office building would rave about how incredible the place smelled. Plant Therapy is the best pure essential oil brand and this scent is just BLISS!! ... show more
