  • I suppose I should have noticed. Instead I was pleasantly surprised...
Color: gray
I saw this and thought a weekly and monthly planner would be great. I tend to do that on my computer. I was struck by an article from one of the master mavens I follow online on how the act of physically writing out your plans, gratitude and reflections is much better than electronic. 5 minutes of research on Amazon and I bought it... When it arrived, I noticed 2023 and 2024 "Oh crud (different word was used) I just bought pages that will go unfilled and will just say 'empty' to me." Instead these guys made it from July (this month) till next July. Yeah I know, it actually says that but I missed it. It is a very well-constructed book, with great paper, functional layout. I couldn't be happier. ... show more

  • If you want a daily planner and not a personal life coach, this is the planner for you!
Color: Brown
All around, a wonderful, beautiful, STRAIGHTFORWARD, daily planner. I’m a person that struggles to keep track of my day to day life. I had adhd and after suffering a TBI four years ago, I still can get a little lost and overwhelmed in the personal organizational department. I’ve tried using my phone, I’ve tried setting reminders, I’ve tried calendars, writing on the back of my hand, sticky notes, everything. Then enter the personal planner. It was a godsend to be able to physically write things down and have a concrete, all in one system for keeping track of dates and appointments, bills, weekly work schedules and due dates, the whole nine yards. Now, as to why THIS daily planner is better than others. Well, I’ve tried a few. I used the Panda Planner and I’ve tried Bullet Journaling. Neither worked for me. The Panda Planner seems like a good idea but it’s overwhelming... it’s like having a nagging personal life coach on every page, giving you more assignments to do during your already busy day! Write down goals for the month, goals for the week, goals for the DAY?! Come on, ain’t nobody got time fo’ that! Then there was the more free and loose style of bullet journaling. (Insert eye roll.) Let’s just day, if I had the organizational skills to keep track of my life on BLANK pages and the perseverance to keep up with a system like that completely of my own making, I probably wouldn’t need a planner in the first place. (Maybe I just don’t get it, but when someone suggested I walk a YouTube tutorial about HOW to Bullet Journal I knew I was totally over the system. I’m not trying to be the Martha Stewart of personal organizers, here, ladies and gents! I just want to remember that I have a doctors appointment without having to look at a calendar the day of and whisper some sort of expletive. Is that too much to ask?) Enter this beauty. It’s simple. It’s clean. And it’s not loaded down with so many bells and whistle that you get distracted every time you open it. HEAR THAT FOLKS? SIMPLE. I love it. You have your months, followed by an open spread page for each week and then a nice chunk of empty note pages at the back and that’s it. It’s exactly what you want in a daily planner. Pages to plan your day... duh! (I thinks there’s also the usual planet stuff like a contact/addresses page or an “important dates” page in the front and I think I saw a map in the back, but do people actually use those? I haven’t kept contacts in an address book since I was in middle school.) There’s no extra nonsense asking me about my daily goals, there’s no weird sections filled with affirmations or quotes from dead presidents, it’s just a good old, efficient simplistically beautiful planner. (And while the name does say “academic,” there’s no real academic or school feel to it. No “subject” breakdown as I’ve seen in some school planners, or anything like that. It very easily could be used to keep track of school work and course loads, due dates, etc, but just As easily can be used for anyone else that just needs a bit more space than a monthly calendar to help them keep track of their daily life.) Now, a few more details that seem to be covered in a lot of reviews: Pages/paper: Totally acceptable. I can write, scribble, cross stuff out, and go to town with pens and permeant markers and the pages hold up like a dream! There is some ghosting on the other side with heavier inks, but not enough to bother me... I only care if there is true bleed through or when scribbles (like a scratch out scribble) pushes through to the other side. Build: Sturdy. Fancy leather cover, one of those nice stretchy straps to keep it closed when you toss it in your bag. It’s got a nice little pocket in the back where I keep a few sticky notes and the pocket has held up wonderfully too! And this baby has been carried around in my big bag-lady bag for the past six months now with who knows what else and it still looks as fresh as the day I got it. No real scratches, corners are still good, strap it still in place with daily use. It’s tough. Stickers: Oh yeah! It even comes with stickers and who doesn’t love a little bit of sticker fun every now and again! (Despite other reviews, I didn’t have any trouble with the stickers. I just put them a bit more towards the inside so the tab only popped over the edge of the page by a sliver.) CONS: Now... there’s not much about this planner that I don’t like. But I have to be honest, there is one small thing that’s a minor inconvenience. There’s a small elastic band across the binding so that you can slip a pen in there and carry it with you. Which is great and actually something I specifically searched for when I was looking for a planner because I hate clipping pens to the outside as they always get lost in my bag and I hate keeping them in the planner because it bends the book. BUT this strap here is a little too tight (or maybe it’s the material?) to allow any sort of pen with a textured or rubberized grip to go through. I can slip a sharpie through that’s twice as thick without issue, but any pen that has that non-slip texture to it will NOT slip into that elastic band, even when I went and bought the thinnest pen I could find! Which bums me out a little because pretty much all my favorite pens have that texture these days. Oh well, I guess. Like I said... minor thing, but it’s the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. If I can’t fit a pen in there, what’s the point? (SEE PHOTOS for this comparison.) Regardless. Good planner. Would recommend. ... show more

  • Best Calendar EVER
Color: blue
I have just ordered my third consecutive calendar from this site. I love keeping schedules and notes in hard copy, and this calendar has the ideal set up for my needs. I especially like the 80 pages or so of lined paper included towards the back of the book, which I use for notes on special projects or trips. The space allotted for each day is enough to get all tasks down, even for my timekeeping entries. I use the pocket on the inside back flap to store receipts until I can file them, etc. I often need to check back on events from the past year, and everything is easy to look up again in the previous volumes. The binding is attractive and professional, and the size so convenient it fits in my purse. Am a super fan. In the past decades, I had bought Moleskin and other brand calendars, but this is my favorite of all. ... show more

  • Great Planner
Color: blue
Absolutely love. You can view by month and week. Plenty of space to write. Very good quality. Note pages are at the back of the book - and there’s a lot of them! The sticker tabs can be a little hard to place (I’ve had to remove the stickers and it ripped the top layer of the page just a little bit). But once they’re in they look great (love the rainbow colors). It’s a good size as well - not too big but not too small. I’ve bought this planner multiple times - for myself and as presents to others. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Less note pages from last year's model
Color: Brown
The only difference from last year's model that i noticed was 1/2 the amount of note pages. Not sure if that's a good thing yet or not. But besides that I like the ease of having everything in 1 place. I still coordinate it with my phone calendar just in case. But i've always been a planner person, so... And this is basic- month in view 2pgs, 1 week at glance in 2 pgs, and notes in the back. It's not like a motivational one with all the bells and whistles that end up feeling like homework at the end of the day. The only thing I don't like are the sticker tabs because they take up space on my margin, which i use a lot. I just don't use them. I tried to cut just the month portion of the tab- we'll see how that works. ... show more

  • Love it!
Color: gray
I decided not to spend money on an Erin Condren planner this year and this has been a great replacement! I get to have the monthly view that I like and there is ample space to write in the daily view as well.

  • My favorite monthly/daily planner
Color: Brown
I have been using this brand planner for several years now, and let me tell you, these are the best daily/monthly planners I have ever had. The price is great, and it is extremely durable. As a graduate student, I use this planner everyday, and it fits in my different sized bags (backpacks, purses, handbags, etc..), which makes it easy to travel with. I most definitely recommend this product! ... show more

  • great little planner
Color: blue
Even though I use multiple google calendars to keep myself organized, this planner is a great tool to use side-by-side with the google calendars. I remember what I write (and not necessarily what I type), so even though the events in my planner are mostly duplicated with google, I find it very helpful. I also use my planner for highlighting or making special notes about certain events. There are many blank pages in the back for additional notetaking. I number these pages so I can reference them--it might be helpful if they came pre-numbered. ... show more
