I wanted to put some framed photos on my bookshelf but I am not a fan of the super traditional cheesy looking frames that I've seen around as they tend to make a lot of visual noise and clutter, which I am trying to cut down on in my home decor. I liked these frames because they are as minimal as you can get. One thing to note is that the 4 metal dots on the front will be visible over your photo so best to make sure they aren't covering something important, or have photos printed that are smaller than 4x6 and leave a 0.75" margin all around. Or frame a small collectible instead.

I had seen a few images online of people using similar acrylic frames on their bedroom dressers and really liked the look. I like the minimalist simplicity of these frames. I like that the frame basically disappears so the picture is the true focus. The rounded corner option is especially attractive and, as I plan to use these in my son’s room, a bit safer in case they fall off the dresser. The magnetic closer makes it super simple to change out the photo. With most photo frames, once one photo is in, that is were it will live forever, but with these frames I may change them up when the mood strikes! I may even change out the picture for each holiday.

These frames are a wonderful way to show off all of your favorite pictures. I love that the picture itself is not obscured by any part of the frame. They also provide a greater depth than regular frames. They almost look embossed as opposed to just stacked under glass. They are perfect for desktop display at work and look great in any other place where a standard frame just won't work. I will be back for more, even if they are a little pricey.

These acrylic frames were packed well to prevent scratches. They are heavy and stand easily in either direction, portrait or landscape. The magnets look nice when displaying smaller items. The magnets are strong enough to hold two- 4" x 6" back-to-back photos (not shown). They are very easy to set up and change with 4 x 6 items. Setting up smaller items back-to-back is trickier as they are difficult to keep aligned due to static. I like being able to display different photos simply by turning them around - like showing photos of various family memories when 'they' come to visit!
