I bought obviously for dj usages and already did a small test and put it up against my old but still functioning customize sony mdr v700 and a sennheiser hd 25 . And this is my verdict, first all headphones are great. - The cue1 sounds more bass punchy for my taste but tolerable, mids and highs sounds a little bit flat and in the lower end But not bad. Great construction and looks like heavy duty gear. And they are incredibly comfortable and lightweight. Good on ear headphones - against the sony mdr v700. The sony has for me better mid-highs and the bass is not as punchy but sounds in a perfect sweet spot. But they are heavy and not as robust as some newer headphones still they are great over the ear headphones and a good classic earpiece also repairable. - against the sennheiser hd 25 This are one of the most standards dj on ear headphones in the market right now. They sound great all across the board and all frequency are on point but are alot more expensive. but the cue1 doesn't have to Envy them on nothing with it's highly customizable parts and detachable cable are a good advantage agaist the Sennheiser. Although they sound quite different in there frequencies both are highly workable in my opinion Hope this was a good review for those that are considering buying this headphones Lets see how do they behave in the long run especially there durability ... show more

I bought these for use with my music production and DJ hobby. The fit is perfect and sound is top notch. I like the folding feature for single headphone use. The cord is springy coiled at one point which is good for cord management and for preventing accidental unplugging. They are customizable for colored pads also. This headphone truly amazes me! The bass is clean and deep, for a headphone at this price level, I'll say it's a steal from Pioneer. I don't think any other manufacturer can provide such sound quality at this price tier. Simple as that.

Yes! The headphone's cord fits your standard headphone jacks (mp3,phone,laptops) and it has a built in screw on adapter to add on different size jacks. The quality of sound will depend on what music you listen to, for me it does the job. The headphones sit on your ears, after 30 mins I took them off and surprised my ears weren't sore.
