Serato DJ Pro users benefit from 16-pad modes, assigning 8 pads each to two functions per deck, while Transport mode in both rekordbox and Serato turns pads into play, pause, cue, and pitch controls, rekordbox even works with just a laptop. Silent Cue enables seamless restarts at the correct BPM, and Slide FX strips allow dynamic effect manipulation with a simple finger glide. Borrowing looping controls from the DJM-S9 flagship mixer, the XP2 ensures precision during sets, while its robust, non-slip design is built for reliable performance.
