Great value for money. The platters and basic functions feel the same as top end club cdjs. Perfect for home practice and prep for club gigs. The 850 also works very well with Rekordbox. All pre-set cue points and loops are instantly accessible. The wave form is also pre-loaded when tracks are exported through Rekordbox. Outstanding piece of kit. If you live outside of the States, make sure you check voltage. I had to purchase a voltage converter as the US has lower plug point voltage. I have owned these players since they were first released back in 2011 i think and i have to say they are okay but after sometime you will realize that they are not worth the money you put in, pioneer never fix the bugs, never put any firmware upgrades. the player has many issues and bugs like for the menu search for example the scroll is very bad and the navigation is too cheap, i know that this is what u get for a 890$ player unlike the 2000s but if i wwould go back i would save up and get a 2000 or a 900 nexus. btw i own now 2 cdj 2000s next to the 850s and since i got those i barely come next to the 850s even though it seems cool mixing with 4 decks(Ihave a djm900) but its hard navigating ur tracks inside the s***ty screen of the 850. hope i explained my experience in a excat way! ... show more

Upgraded from the 800mk2. Using the USB drive now is a freaking time saver. No more burning discs and hauling around cd cases. It's great. The only complaint is the 850's do not have the link function that the 900 or 200's do. Meaning, you need 2 usb sticks for mixing instead of linking 1. Great product, these player are one of the best i had so far, never got any problems easy to use they come with many options and whats amazing that you can use USB flash drive, laptop or cd's any choice you want
