Shipping was fast and quality was great. Came with instructions, installation tool, battery, lens cleaner and lens caps. Installation was easy. You can choose a RED or GREEN target dot and there is also adjustable brightness. Works great!!! Scope has a very clear view and seems to be very rugged for outdoor use. I notice all of the removable caps all have o-rings. A sign it’s probably water resistant.

This is a $20 product your mileage may vary. Surviving my Gamo Bone Collector 0.177 Break Action Springer pellet gun, the killer of scopes (So far killed three scopes with this gun). I have gone through two and a half tins of pellets with it (~1,250) and this red dot is still going. Accurate enough at 40 ft for a tin can, with a rim fire you could pry reach out further but with the Springer even with an artillery hold the inaccuracy caused by the recoil and the lack of magnification makes anything thing can sized past 50ft more and more difficult to hit. This thing is big and bulky. Larg clear eye releafe. Easy to install battery, smooth brightness adjustments, green and red, green is better for bright conditions. Windage and elev is under screw caps like most cheep scopes will need of a coin or screwdriver to spin. Mounts to picatinny rails will need a dovetail to picatinny adapter sold separately for non tactical guns. My adaptor plate is 3.9 in long you will need one at least 2.3 in long or it won't fit on the adaptor. IMPORTANT, mine migrated with the recoil. You might be able to tighten it down enough so it won't but I was afraid of snapping the screws. Luckily my adaptor plate has a vertical hole for an included screw pin, and the gun has a hole for that too, i am not sure if friction alone would hold. Additionally the scope moved on the adaptor I used the spair pin that came with the adaptor in the space left in the vertical hole with the other pin. The screws for the red dots clamps hit that and keep it from shifting. At this price worth the risk installing it on a springer. Yours might break, I mean this is only $20 red dot so quality may vary. Would buy something nicer for a rim/center fire.

I like the red AND green dot. Very visible.easy to see. I also liked how precise the adjustments were , after three shots I was hitting center of crosshairs EVERY time. And the price is unreal. I’d give this ring 5 stars but there’s no way this fits a grooved receiver on my Ruger 10-22 or my high end pellet rifle. The thing is mounted now after several attempts but it’s wonky & I don’t think it will stay on if I bump it. I hope yours fits better. That said I’ll probably buy another I bet and ask my gunsmith buddy to have at it. He might have some adapters laying around

I was searching for a red dot that I could use on an AR-15. I had a very meager budget for this build so I wanted the best I could get for the $$. Something good, clear, and we'll see how reliable it is. I used a laser I had previously sighted in to sight in this sight. Took it out yesterday and put 120 rounds through it and it stayed dead on at about 40 yards. I haven't tried it farther out yet. The lowest power settings give a nice crisp dot that was perfectly visible in bright daylight. (especially the green) As you increase the brightness settings the dot gets a little bit more of a star effect but is still quite usable. My brother had a Bushnell TR25 on his and while his was a slightly crisper dot, this one was clearer and had a larger objective lens which allows for better sight picture, was easier to shoot with, and held just as tight of groups as the Bushnell with all 4 people who shot it. Unless you are planning on building a strict competition shooter. We'll see how the long term reliability is and if I have problems, I'll update this. ***Update*** Dec 2021 I still have this sight and it works great. Used on an AR for about 1k rounds and then put it on my son's BB gun. It stopped working intermittently but I figured out that the spring for the battery wasn't making good contact. I stretched spring a little and it started working reliably again. I recently purchased a second of these sights for another firearm and it is great too!

The first time I took it out, it wouldn't hold zero. I was trying to zero the rifle and I kept chasing the dot around, it would be perfect and when I went to verify, it was off, this kept happening until it starting shutting off. I would fire then the dot was off. I would have to turn the dial to off and then back on and when I fired it would shut off. I was not abusing it, It was on a 5.56 rifle. It lasted about 2.5 mags before it crapped out completely.
