  • Amazing for airsoft and not ridiculously expensive
Size: 3-4 MOA Style: Black Classic
I initially thought this sight was plastic construction due to the price. Much to my surprise, this little thing has really nice weight. As far as I can tell, every part is metal and it's a super solid piece. The added riser is a huge plus, considering most are $5-$10 by themselves. I originally thought 11 different brightness settings was overkill, but it's nice having a degree of fine-tuning like that. The reticle is super easy to see and the relief is pretty good. I just received it tonight, so I don't know how well it operates in the field, but just off build quality alone I have a feeling it'll work for exactly what I need. Bottome line, if you're like me and need just SOME sight for airsoft (even if only for the tacti-cool look), this should be the easiest purchase of your life. ... show more

  • Great sight for the price.
Size: 3-4 MOA Style: Black Classic
Works well with my gsg 16. Holds 0 with no issue, not sure how if it would hold 0 on an AR or not I didnt try it. For $30 you won't beat it.

  • Cheese-food grade sight
Size: 3-4 MOA Style: Black Classic
I'm using this for an airsoft gun. I'm not sure how well it would hold up on a thing that actually goes bang, for a gun that goes pew, it works just fine. Sighted it in roughly and quickly and it turns out to be pretty dang accurate. The metal feels cheap, the glass feels cheap. For $30 I don't think you can go wrong. Red dots are way easier than iron sights or peep sights but it may be frustrating if you're using it on a gun with a lot of recoil. The riser is a nice bonus, haven't tried it yet but I intend to. Pretty amazing for what it is. Comes with a separated bulk-pack 2032 cell - it's nice that it uses this VERY available battery and not some goofyball battery. Pretty sure it's the exact same thing as the one with the other name on it that's $10-15 more. Since the eye hole is only 22mm it's easy to "lose" the sight if you're not yet used to it. I use a Vortex StrikeFire on my other unit (a gun that goes bang, not pew) and although it's more than twice the size and about 7 times the price, I can appreciate the difference. We'll see how well the glass holds up and whether it'll hold 0 while being transported, used, and whatnot. The included cloth sheds lint, making it just about useless. The front lens had a nice big finger print on it already from the factory. The diver's goggles of a lens cover is just begging to get lost. With all that said, I'd buy another for another unit (gun, weapon, toy, whatever) but if it craps out, I would not replace it with another of the same, if that makes sense. The turret markings are tiny. There are clicks but the adjustments feel like they're out of round when you're adjusting them. The turret caps don't have a flathead molded into them to use as an adjustment tool. It comes in a neat box. The manual is disposable. The dot is clear enough and small enough to be useful. The riser sucks. I find it too tall and it looks funny. Get one, why not? ... show more

  • Great Stuff...
Size: 3-4 MOA Style: Black Classic
I have purchased 4 of these red dots and have them on 3 shotguns and a Hi Point 995. They work perfectly with no issues.

I can't speak for longevity, but I can say we bolted it on, 2 clicks down, 2 clicks right and it was spot on, i was blown away.

  • You get what you pay for You get what you pay for
Size: 3-4 MOA Style: Black Classic
TLDR: Red dot is 'meh', spend a tiny bit more and get yourself something better. I recently purchased a FX Impact MKii 35 cal air rifle. I moved my ATN scope from my FX Impact X .25 cal to the .35 cal and needed something for sub 100y varmint hunting. My friend recently picked up the Sig Sauer red dot and I was able to play with it for a day before deciding that I didn't believe it was worth the high cost. Sorting my search by ratings brought me to the Pinty red dot. It has numerous positive reviews and a great price. I decided to take a chance and test out the Pinty red dot. It comes in a small black box with the Red dot, a 2025/2032 battery, a 1" riser, an allen wrench, and a cleaning cloth. I appreciate these little details like the cleaning cloth and allen wrench. The first thing I noticed was a piece of white paint or possibly a tiny nick in the metal on the top of the red dot. Only after a thorough inspection did I realize that this miniscule tiny white dot was the power adjustment indicator. It is really really small. About the size of a piece of dust. What is this for...ants? It needs to be at least 3x bigger! The red dot itself is noticeably bright at the highest level (would be overly bright ranging at 100y), but the brightness can be adjusted. 4 seemed to be the sweet spot in broad daylight for me. As I was inspecting the red dot I noticed a small defect on my sighting lens. On the internal side of the lens was a small bit of a black rubber seal protruding from the seam and with what seemed to be some type of black glue or sealant leaking from the rubber seal. While it wouldn't affect the physical performance, as it didn't block my view or break the red dot, it could however easily introduce moisture to the inside of the red dot if I were to encounter any wet conditions while out hunting. I contacted Pinty via email and customer service responded acceptably within 48 hours. Pinty was able to resolve my issue quickly. I was excited to get to the firing range with a new Pinty red dot. I opened the replacement Pinty red dot and immediately noticed the exact same defect on the new one. This time the black glue/sealant was on the outside of the red dot itself...as well as in the inside of the lens. I decided to begin searching for another brand of red dot. While customer support was stellar, the red dot itself had problems that were not being addressed and support did not offer a solution that rectified the problem or acknowledged my lost/wasted time. I will update this review if anything further transpires with Pinty support. ... show more

  • Small , sturdy, solid Small , sturdy, solid
Size: 3-4 MOA Style: Black Classic
First off smaller than what I was thinking... But I like it. Easy to install... 1-3 brightness you can't really see 9-11 gets pretty blurry. Used a bore sighter pretty easy to sight in was pretty accurate and has held zero so far only 60 rounds thru it(ammo shortage got me conserving. I'll have to get a .83 riser to get it to co witness the way I want.. All in all solid product ... show more

  • Can't believe how well it works for the price
Size: 3-4 MOA Style: Black Classic
My eyes are terrible, I really need a new prescription. At 100 yards, the target is a blur... but with this red dot I just aim for the center of the target, which is VERY easy to do with the small red dot. I had no idea if I was hitting the target, but I kept shooting. When I went to retrieve the target the group was about 2.5 inches!! I was shooting .223 offhand! Not a great shot anymore, but that's pretty decent. This red dot is perfect for the price! ... show more
