These paddles suit their purpose for a basement ping pong table but the day we got them we could see the trim around the paddle was already pealing on one. The price was reasonable for 4 paddles and a bunch of balls so I figured I would just add a dab of glue to hold it on. It actually pulled off completely before I could do that so one paddle is missing the trim (which will probably cause the pad to peel away eventually too). The plastic case appeared to be stored somewhere really hot so it was discolored and had a bit of an odd smell but I don't notice much anymore. The craftsmanship on the wood is average, could be a little smoother to the touch.

Bought this paddle set as I needed additional paddles to have on hand when family visits. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the paddles. I was easily able to put a spin on the ball and they have held up extremely well so far. I've only used 2 of the ping-pong balls so far, but both had the expected bounce and feel so I'm confident the remaining should also. Been quite happy with the purchase and looking forward to being able to play a little 2 on 2 with the additional paddles.

I am a novice player who knows very little about what makes a good paddle, so take this with a grain of salt... The rubber on these puddles has a high tack value, they almost feel sticky. I play better with these than with my son's higher end paddle, in my subjective opinion. So far (two months) they are still intact and no detachment of the surface layer, unlike the cheap paddles I've picked up at the local W**mart or grocery store sports aisle. For the price, I'm very satisfied. Would recommend. And will probably buy again. Eventually. I will certainly this review if they start to fall apart anytime soon.

These work great and didnt break the bank. They have a nice grip keeping the paddle in my hand. The padding is staying on well after playing with them a few times. the balls bounce as expected. The carrying case is nice to have in order to keep everything together. Its a pretty good deal for the quantity that you get in this package. I would recommend.

The boxing, paddles, and balls all seem to be made of high quality and I do expect will last a long time, but for the cost I expected a net would've been added as well. Longevity is yet to be determined.

The paddles are poorly made. I guess this is a good beginner set with carrying case and some balls included. The durability is lacking. It just does not have that “premium” feel in your hand.

This is a really great set! I wanted to find a gift for a family friend, and when I found out they have a ping pong table, I knew this would be perfect! The paddles are really well made, and it comes with a great case! If you are a ping pong fan, this is a terrific set!
