Overall: For roughly 10 bucks, this thing is super cool. I bought it as a prop for a retro-future band I'm gonna be playing in (hi guys!). Comfort: I can feel a tiny bit of pressure on my eyes when the thing is lit, but I think I've gotten used to it. And I'm not wearing it for extended periods of time. There's a small buzzing when it's on, but you'll barely hear it if you're wearing to a party. It does add a buzz to my guitar pickups though :P Also you can definitely see with it on, just a little blocked vision. Usage: Takes two AA batteries. One button. First press turns it on, second press makes it blink slowly, third press makes it blink fast, fourth press turns it back off. The glasses are attached via thin cord to the battery pack which has a clip for your pants, but is also small enough to just easily fit into your pocket. These are unbelievably brilliant 80s party accessories!!! My husband and I had a pair each and they rescued our frankly meh outfits and turned us into party superstars. People were asking us where we got them ALL NIGHT. Worth every penny and then some. I smiled so much wearing these that my face actually started to hurt. My husband’s battery pack belt loop cracked (maybe because he was inspired by the glasses to bust one too many bold dance floor moves and put pressure on the plastic?) but he just tucked it in his pocket, and I had mine in a disco-glitter fanny pack so didn’t experience any problems at all. ... show more

These are great for glow parties and an all-around novelty look. My 13 year old took these to a school glow party dance and was a hit. The glasses are sturdy and comfortable. The cord to the battery/switch box is long enough and is firmly attached at both ends. The control button to turn between modes/off is robust and you know when you've actuated it. The glasses - OBVIOUSLY - restrict vision, so you should not expect to be able to wear these out on the street and definitely not while driving. Also, the fast-flash mode may make you dizzy and cause real problems for epileptics. ... show more

Got for a space party. The lights really pop in darker areas. There is a cord to a double A battery pack that you need to deal with, but I ran the cord behind my head and down my outfit and poked a hole in my pocket to put the on off/battery pack. They stay on your head pretty well. It does get a little tiring on the eyes staring through the slats all night, but nothing major. With the constant on setting, I really didn't see the lights in my own vision. Wore these over prescription glasses and it did work but it wasn't a perfect fit. If you're using them OTG just know you may have to fiddle with the fit a bit. ... show more

I bought the glasses a few months back when I randomly came across them on Amazon after seeing them worn by Matt Bellamy from Muse, as my cover band plays Muse and I thought it'd be a sweet gimmick. Sure enough, these glasses are a huge crowd pleaser and lady magnet (and dude magnet. These glasses don't discriminate). I wore them for two gigs and they worked amazing--easy to put in the batteries, easy to clip on my back pocket (cord is about 3ft), and easy to wear. My caveats are (1) when worn over prescription glasses, I found they slide down occasionally, especially when moving a lot. I would find quick moments between guitar chords to push the glasses back to my face. They haven't felt like they were going to fall off, though. (2) As another customer experienced, the wire where it meets the glasses frame can easily break. I threw these on before a song only to find they no longer lit up and the wire was twisted and open. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement pair, so excellent customer service. With this new pair, I'll try some gaff tape at the potential break point as a preventative measure. Absolutely worth the price despite caveats. ... show more

These glasses are fun and a hit at parties! However, the blue neon doesn't work. I tried looking for another switch or button or something but it just doesn't work. Still great, though!

Honestly, these glasses are dope. I got so many compliments on them at Snowglobe this year, and a couple numbers😏 but they broke so fast! I was very careful with them and they still broke. I’ve heard this happens to a lot of them, my friend as well. They need to make the connection from the wire to the glasses better. You can see in my picture the problem, the wire is exposed right where it meets the glasses, doesn’t turn on anymore. I would love to wear these again but I dont want to buy a new pair every time they break. Hopefully customer service is nice enough to send me a new pair, that would definitely up the star rating! Update: Support sent me a new pair free of charge! The quality is likely the same, but you have to keep them safe! Haven't used the new pair yet. But 5 stars for customer service. Quality could be a bit better though ... show more
