Description

The EGI hybrids are available in 8 different lofts, allowing you to replace irons with these easier to hit hybrids. Each hybrid features a nice balance of weight throughout the entire club head that increases and widens the sweet spot. The shape of the club head allows you to use these clubs from various lies, good or bad.More and more players are playing hybrids. The reason being they are more forgiving, add distance, and will improve your game instantly. We've mentioned this before, but imagine if you could take a fairway wood, shorten the shaft and change the shape ever so slightly. This is the simple anatomy of a hybrid. If you haven't tried a high lofted hybrid to help your game, it is definitely something worth considering.

  • Just fun to hit
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Configuration: 36 Degrees
I bought this club because I wanted to try out a 9 wood. I have a 7 wood that is so easy to hit why not try a 9 wood? But I just couldn’t justify spending $350 at the local golf store for something Ii may not even like. So when I saw this one I jumped on it, I’ve spent more money on a bad meal. When it came, I went straight to the driving range and started smacking balls. On my first swing, I fell in love. It launches the ball so high and so easy to hit it felt like cheating. It carries for me 60 year old retiree 125 yards easy. That falls right in between my 9 iron and my 8 iron. But that’s not even the best part of it. The best part is the launch angle and height. This club just skies the ball and at its Apex it drops straight down. Now I get in trouble on the wrong side of the tree lines more times than not and I am confronted with trying to punch the ball through or go over the trees. This club goes over the trees with so little effort. But I’ve also started using it to bump and run shots around the green. I have a lot more control using this club as opposed to say a 6 or 7 iron. Honestly, I don’t know how you can go wrong. It’s well made and it’s cheap. I think you’ll be very happy with this club. I know I am. ... show more

  • Very happy with 6H club!
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Configuration: 28 Degrees
Really happy with the quality of this 6 hybrid. I hit the ball so well with it. Graphite and club head are quality materials. I was putting it 155-175 yards, down the middle, pretty much the exact same shot shape as my TM Burner 6 hybrid that I love so much I need to replace with this club. Most of my other clubs are modern Ping and Taylormadr models and this club feels in line with the other clubs in my bag. ... show more

  • easy to hit but
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Configuration: 45 Degrees
ok after several rounds with this club here's the good and bad of it ... its easy to hit, no doubt easier than my irons ... it hits straight no slice no draw, "for me" .... it hits really high and sticks greens like a meteor strike .... the only thing that takes time to adjust for is the heavy head of this club ... 45 degrees but you can hit this 120yds or use it for chipping ... this takes time to get the feel ... but I really like it ... use it for 100yds and in .... short around the green I have a hybrid wedge .... and a 60 the only true iron in the bag ... now its no irons for me ... Driver, 3 wood, 21d hybrid, 26d hybrid, Fairway woods 30, 34, 38, 45, hybrid wedge, 60 ... show more

  • Quality built, but not great results.
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Configuration: 32 Degrees
First off: quality built club. It's well made. Decent grip and good shaft. My only complaint would be the paint easily chips, but that kind of thing doesn't bother me. The head did feel heavy compared to other hybrids. I didn't have a problem with the weight. Unfortunately it didn't fit my swing at all. I have a TM 4 hybrid and Mizuno 5-6 hybrids. I hit them very well. My 7-iron broke and I thought a 7H would replace my iron well. Iron play is not a strength of my game. There's a lot more offset in the Pinewood than my others which caused me to go left a lot. Also, the leading edge is very different and I found myself routinely blading shots. Occasionally I would get a hold of one and it would really go. If you can hit a hybrid with offset, then it's for you. I ended up pulling the shaft, shortening it and using it on my broken 7-iron. I'm still hunting for a cheap 7H that fits my swing. Know your swing before you buy. ... show more

  • A little high priced..not sure yet...some observations
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Configuration: 19 Degrees
I have the 3 hybrid...only hit a few practice balls so far... Some thoughts and observations: The club head has a nice heavier feel to it then my Adams...which I like The grip is a tacky type which feels good Shaft is regular it's Pinemeadows own not sure of the quality...regular flex Length standard The club head is attractive...finish wise..we will see how it holds up The face is very good and grooved I was looking for a 3 hybrid..reg shaft, because I have a stiff shafted 3 Adams I bought used . I wish they would have offered a senior flex which they do on their website. Didn't go there first.. my bad. Reg will be ok. The price is a little high to me for a generic club, with out a named brand shaft..I guess you can change that but the price is high now...but on the other hand the avg Joe like me can't afford the Callaways and Pings..so oh well....lol My Adams clubs are starting to wear down..the slot technology ones...not made any more supposedly and thought I would try this hybrid. I don't hit it far but mostly straight...I will edit this post after I play a round or two...Right now we've been 100 degrees for the last week...big cool down coming next week 95..lol...I'm 70 with some heart issues so heat is not a good thing unless u get out real early...all the best ... show more
