  • Impressively Well-Built, With Unique Features & Design
Style: Toaster
Who knew? Kitchen Aide makes a toaster, too! It is has a pleasingly 'stunning' appearance - not a word I'd normally use to describe a toaster! Far from drab and boring, the eye-catching, bright-red color and sleek design that is unique and oddly classic yet modern, fit my taste like no other I've ever seen! But this toaster isn't just for looks! It's crafted solidly with sturdy, well-coated, quality materials to last, yet it is not too heavy, which makes it easy to move. A pull out tray makes cleaning easy. Its narrow design was a dream come true to fit my limited kitchen counter space. The shape is ingenious, in that it makes use of some of the usually wasted elongated space between the wall and counter edge while preserving much-valuable space. Two normal-sized slices fit side-by-side going lengthwise. But the toaster easily has the capacity to accommodate Belgium waffles, large hamburger buns, and also homemade and bread-maker breads that often are taller or denser. Another thing that I think makes this toaster special is that it has a more versatile combination of warming and defrosting settings that other toasters I've seen don't have; it can accommodate breads, waffles, bagles, buns, tarts of any size or thickness without leaving its owner to unplug it and dig and poke. Also, this toaster browns consistently even and, incredibly, I have never had burnt bread since using this toaster! The setting buttons light up when pressed. My kitchen is happier and brighter, and the toaster lives up to the reliable Kitchen Aid name. The toaster arrived quickly and in good condition, and I expect it to be the last toaster I'll need to buy. ... show more

  • So pretty
Style: Toaster
This is a well made toaster and is beautifully designed. The only thing that bothers me about it is the power cord. It's very sturdy and well made, but it's ugly and very "there". I think that if you have an outlet that is in the counter instead of on the wall, it would look much better. As it is, I hide the cord behind my utensil holder. As far as the toaster itself. It's gorgeous. I love to use it and I love to look at it. It is a bit pricey, but I'm very happy that I bought it. It adds a very interesting touch of color into my kitchen. Every time I walk by it, I think about how much I love it. ... show more

  • Limited
Style: Hand Blender
I use a hand blender for mainly one reason , Soups. I like med to thick creamy soups. After cooking , say, peas with carrots, celery, onion, touch of garlic and a ham bone with some meat and spices, I then remove the bones and blend until just specs remain. This is basic for me with chowders and other soups. This blender works perfect and replaced another I had for years. However, this blender has a twist on lower blade that does will twist off easy if enough pressure is applied during use. Another model that is more expensive should have a button type locking. For my limited use it works fine and fishing for the lower half with tongs a couple of times has been a pain not a problem of purpose. ... show more

  • Better Than My Cuisinart
Style: Food Chopper
I used a similar size Cuisinart for nearly 20 years (that includes replacing it a few times). It was time for another replacement so I thought I would give KitchenAid a try. I always use a food chopper to prepare onions for recipes because I don't like crying my mascara off while I'm chopping. The Cuisinart practically purees the onions (remember, I have 20 years of experience doing this and stopping at just the right moment, shaking the machine to get the big chunks next to the blade and other tricks still result in something closer to a puree than a chopped outcome). The KitchenAid actually gives me a finished product that is chopped! Love it! ... show more

  • Good, but not as versatile as advertised.
Style: Food Chopper
This little chopper is good for basic stuff, but don't expect much else. The advertising for this shows the individual making many different things from this... but the real truth is that it will dice what you put in there, but not 100%. Because you are not pushing the food THROUGH the blade, it won't give you a guaranteed chop on every part of the item. Does OK, but small choppers are all troubled with this problem I think. 100% PROS: As for looks... thumbs up. Looks great and a great color. Also, the oil drip hole is great idea for making salsa and other things you might want/need to add oil while chopping. ... show more

  • poor lid design.
Style: Electric Kettle
I wish I had not wasted my money on this kettle. I had to send the first one back because the lid did not close enough which caused the water to continuously boil at boiling point, I had to press the lid down for it to stop. Now the replacement is doing the same thing. It reaches boiling point and just keeps boiling. Can possibly be dangerous if all the water boils off if you are not standing there waiting for it to boil. The lid pushes up once boiling point hits and all the steam comes out which is probably what's preventing it from turning off. The lid doesnt have a latch when you close it. I've had a $30 kettle that was better designed. It does clean very well with white vinegar. ... show more

  • Wide&Long Single Slot Toaster
Style: Toaster
Saw this clearance sale prices at Dillard's, but Amazon price still saved more. The amply widthed and elongated mouth allows toasting thick slices of artisanal loaves in a downsized galley. A fitting gift for solitary diners, but not for a busy crew of hungry maws. The cancel button and extra lift features are particuly useful. ... show more

  • Love it mixes everything well
Style: Hand Mixer
I love how light this is I find every excuse to use it so much better then those huge heavy inefficient mixers then never mix all the ingredients. My daughter of eight can use it Be sure to get the extra accessories wish I had so I can do more with it love the classic look
