I've used this pen for about nine years now (putting in refills along the way). It's my favorite pen for everyday writing -- notetaking, listmaking, journal writing, etc. It writes very smoothly and is very comfortable in my hand. Hope it's never discontinued.

I have several of these ink pens. I love the fact that they are so easy to use. The grip is not combersome at all. The pen writes very smoothly and you don't have to press hard to get it to work.

I used Dr Grip pens years ago and happens to see one in a store. The price was so much lower on Amazon. I love the feel in my hand and it glides across the page smoothly and effortlessly. It is heavy and a nice weight. It is a must for people like me with psoriatic arthritis. My hands tend to ache after writing for extended periods of time. This helps alleviate the stiffness and pain.

Love the weight of the pen and how nice it feels when holding it. I have a Dr Grip pen which I have been using as my daily pen for the last couple of years and was curious about this model. The PILOT Dr. Grip Center of Gravity pen itself is almost the same size as my other Dr Grip (and other G2 pens, buuuuut... the refills are not interchangeable at all! (see attached pic with regular G2 as reference) For me that was a deal killer... until I used it for a couple of days and realized how comfortable this pen is! I wish there was a way I could use my regular G2 refills in this pen (I have around 20 refills, and I think I'll have to find what to do with them now!), plus I don't know how long will this new cartridge size will last, since it has about 25% less than the original G2. So in short, great pen, easy on my hand, very soft grip; too bad about the ink cartridge! Would recommend it, though.
