We took this water painting book to Portland with us as an activity for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. It was east to pack because it is flat, like a coloring book. The paints are at the top of each page and you just mix a little water so there is no mess. The pages come out of the book easily and are nice and thick. The pictures are only on one side so there is no bleed through. The brushes come with the kit so when we took it out of our suitcase she was ready to paint. You could easily take this with you in your suitcase when you travel with kids and it would give them something to do during downtime in the hotel/airbnb. An added bonus for us was that it is like a paint by number so our granddaughter matched the number on the dinosaur to the paint number. This turned it into a great learning activity. This coloring book is awesome! My 4-year-old loves it. There are total 20 pages in the book. Each page has one image, such as Princess, Fairy, or Mermaid, etc. The little artists just need to dip a little water into the brushes that come with the book, then dip a little paint at the top of each page to color the wonderful pictures ... show more

I had got one as a gift for my daughter and we loved it so much I wanted to buy her one. It wasn’t as easy to paint it did come with two paint brushes which was nice. But the color didn’t glide and just went away mostly the only you put the brush on it no paint on the brush.
