The media could not be loaded. I tried 7 different types of bottles for my breastfed baby and this one worked! Nipple shape is better for keeping his mouth opened wide and training him not to bite the nipple. The silicone is super soft, but not glossy and slippery, so it feels much more like skin. The SS (Super Slow) flow nipples come with these bottles. I purchased them separately thinking they wouldn’t come with, but I didn’t need to. The flow is slow like a breast so he doesn’t get frustrated when going back to breast after a bottle. Some bottle nipples are too fast flowing, so the babies can get frustrated when trying to breastfeed after having a bottle. This nipple doesn’t do that. My baby would often choke on other slow flow nipples. He does pretty well with this SS flow and choking is at a minimum. They’re really easy to clean! No weird tubes or extra parts that require special knowledge when assembling. Just 3 simple easy parts. Has a built-in anti colic feature, but I don’t know how well it works because my baby doesn’t have colic. It’s built into the nipple (see photos) and is supposed to prevent extra air from going into baby. It’s nice because there isn’t any extra device to clean, and it’s there if you need it or there if you don’t. Highly recommend!

These bottles are not the best but also not the worst. For reference, I alternate nipples, Pigeon and MAM so that the baby doesn't get used to only one nipple. However, when first trying to get my baby to bottle feed she was very reluctant and cried a lot. This was the only nipple she would take and it helped a lot getting her used to the bottle. My daughter also has a tongue tie so a lot of nipples were very long causing her to gag, these did not do that at all. I would say these are really great if you breastfeed and want to continue breastfeeding with occasional bottle feeds. My daughter still happily breastfeeds and bottlefeeds everyday - I used the SS 0m+ flow. I have not purchased a faster flow since the rate of your breastmilk doesn't change and you want the baby to have to work hard to get milk out of the bottle. The nipples are a little pricey, but well worth it in my opinion and can be ordered separately if you do not want the bottles. I ordered the small and medium bottles as well. I was looking into ordering the glass bottles but read many reviews about the bottles having lead paint on them, so I bought the plastic ones instead (no lead paint - I did my research). The bottles are just okay in my opinion, they could be better. I'm not a fan of the plastic lid where the nipple is held, it feels slim and sometimes I can't tell if I screwed on the lid right or not and as a mom you always want to make sure the lid is on. Spilled breast milk is something to cry over, so if they modified the lid portion I think these bottles would be fantastic. Note, these nipples do fit the basic plastic Phillips Avent bottles. All in all, if you're on the fence, I highly recommend the Pigeon nipples.
