    • Great Compressor. Perfect for airbrushing.
I needed another airbrush compressor and didn’t want to spend a lot of money for a back up. This one works great and I find myself using it more than my Iwata. If you’re new to airbrushing (or even a veteran) this checks all of the boxes I was looking for. -external tank (this in of the highest importance to me. A secondary tank = a constant airflow) -very quiet. -powerful. I can push 55psi for pearl paint with no issue -moisture trap (large and doesn’t leak air) -cooling fan. (Awesome feature that many don’t have at this size or price point. -portable. If you’re a hobby level artist, you can’t go wrong with this one and at this price point. I’ve had name brand that are 3x the price and this is up there with them. If you plan to do large projects consistently, or plan to use for a business, you should probably look to upsize your compressor as this size isn’t designed for that. The only question that isn’t answered yet is, how long will it last? If this review hasn’t been updated and ends after sentence, that means it’s still going strong. AG-426 Is quiet builds air pressure quick and maintained pressure while I'm spraying at 20 or 30 PSI have had it get hot at all the 2nd fan really helps alot.

    • Light and Moderate Noise
Air compressor works good and there was no leaks. It’s definitely portable. Very easy to move around. But it was louder than expected. Measuring with my phone app, the motor runs at 57 db when the tank is empty, but it gradually increases as the tank fills up. At max, it was 70 db (also 70 db when the compressor maintains the PSI during usage). Other than that, i noticed that one of the fan cover screws were shorter than the other 3 and come loose during shipping. Thankfully, it was still usable and i could still secure it in. Edit: I previously measured the noise level within my bedroom (10’ x 10’). When I close my door and measure from outside my door, it was around 47db. Now if i go into an adjacent and close the door of that room, i can barely hear it. When I move the compressor to my living room (~4x larger) and measure within the same room, it was measuring around 60db. All in all, I’m not worried about the noise anymore ... show more

I have tankless air compressor and, I used for few years. it's was all good except one thing.. HEAT it was really get hot. (use less than 1 hour). I searched upgrade compressor it with tank and fan. and I found 2 company, one is " no name" and this brand. looks same, but price is almost 2/3 of " no name" same 1/6hp, 3 liter air tank with 2 fan. upgraded water trap. etc.. I recommend everyone who looking for air compress, that is very good price well made. ... show more

I’m always hesitant to purchase something like this without seeing it but took a chance. Bought this to replace one of those portable battery powered compressors. So far so good. I have no complaints at all. The label with the specs is pealing off but that doesn’t mean anything. This thing is really quiet, which was my number one concern. I’m not sure why some YouTubers claim that these compressors won’t run much when painting a scale model or miniature because they have a tank, but they do run somewhat often. Yes the tank helps but it’ll still run often just not constantly. I’d totally recommend this to anyone airbrushing models or miniatures. Keep in mind this is isn’t a long term use review but it has been working great ever since I got it and I don’t regret buying it at all Update: pressure gauge glass cracked randomly while the compressor was filling up. It still works but it really bothers me that there is a crack in the middle of the glass. Removing a star because of it ... show more

I’m happy with the performance of this compressor so far. It is pretty quiet when running. Easy to adjust the air pressure and no leaks so far. I hope it’s durable but only time will tell. It is exactly the same unit as another no name brand but cheaper.

I think it's the same as the No Name compressor so customer service may not be as good but haven't had any problems mine yer.
