These shoes are precious! I am usually a true 7.5 in every shoe excluding boots or athletic. So, I ordered a 7.5 and wore them everyday for a week or so. The strap across the back wasn't ever snug enough and I felt as if sometimes they appeared too big. So, I ordered them in a 7 and they fit perfect. The reason I'm giving this a 4 star is due to the Velcro strap. Even in the correct size, the Velcro can only be tightened so much. They are very comfortable, but beware ladies. One of the most comfy shoes I've ever bought. I'm picky about my feet and should be! I want comfort ALL DAY and a great look. It's as if I'm not wearing heels at all. They are true to size and somehow my huge ( size 9) feet look small. I can wear these with skinny jeans despite my tiny ankles (& I don't look like I'm wearing skiis!) The foot-bed is soft. Beautiful shoe color and looked well made. However, the base of it was slightly narrow and my foot did not fit on it as well as I hoped it would. Would love to try more of the shoes but you don't realize since it's not mentioned anywhere on the page that there is a restocking fee if you return a pair. Bummer I would have purchased more to try if returns were free. There were a few that are super cute, but no way to know if the size of the show is too narrow until you try it on. My second pair of these Pierre Dumas cork shoes. First few wears, they can feel a little snug. But they stretch to fit your foot shape. Sizing is completely accurate. If you have longer toes, I recommend sizing up 1/2 size only for length. You CAN walk in these all day. Even brand new, there's nothing to rub and blister your feet. First pair is lasting the entire summer in 114 degree Arizona heat! ... show more

I'm not typically one that will buy an off brand of clothes or shoes from Amazon. If I'm going to buy clothes or shoes, I typically stick to brands I'm familiar with and know the fit of. That being said, I am pleasantly surprised with these shoes. My only problem is that the leather velcro strap on the back of the right seems like it can't get tight enough so it always feels like its going to slip, even though the velcro holds. Another great pair, the size fits perfect, if your feet are very thin the straps may feel a bit lose but you can still walk just fine. I guess I am used to a tight fit. I was afraid they were a bit loose but after I walked all day (10 hours) on my feet I didn't even noticed. I am very happy with this pair, will get more in other colors too. ... show more

    • Very cute but loose straps
I found these shoes very cute and easy to walk in. The footbed is not completely smooth, so if you're walking a lot, it's a little irritating. Overall easy to walk in but I find the straps to be loose. Any shoes with ankle straps are always too big around my skinny ankles even when pulled all the way tight but I found the strap across the toes to be uneven - as in , the strap on the left foot was slightly larger than the right. I just sent another pair of black ones just like these same brand back because the ankle strap on one was significantly larger than the other and they flopped very badly. Cute, but if you have narrow ankles and feet, size down. My toes hang over the end a tiny bit, but they do that with all shoes like this. ... show more

I love these shoes! I have a wide foot and they were very comfortable. I wore them all day right out of the box and have no pain. My only complaint is that there is virtually no padding for your foot. I got many compliments and plan to order from this vendor again.
