    • Product is good but packaging was terrible

Good but packaging concerns. Overall this product is of pretty good quality. The colors are beautiful and it seems sturdy enough to last for years. You can add more frames and they still hold without looking weird (I bought four extra frames and it still looks great). I love that you can take the base off and mount the tree on the wall. However, the packaging is worrisome: the product box came in an amazon box that was nearly four times its size with a lot of paper, which is weird but not necessarily unsafe. However when I pulled the product box out of the amazon box I could hear all of the parts moving inside. Since I bought this as a Christmas present for my grandmother, I decided to open to box to make sure everything was still in tact. While nothing was actually broken, none of the parts had been secured very well. It was apparent that the tree part was supposed to be held in place with zip ties but all of the zip ties were cut and the tree was sliding around all over the box. The frames, which were apparently at one point taped to the cardboard backing, had not been well secured at all and had all fallen to the bottom of the box. Four of the frames were fine, but two were damaged. One of the frames I believe was damaged in the box (there is a rather large dent in the plastic slip that protects the picture), the other I think was made faulty and sent anyway (the backing of the frame that is used to change the picture is deformed and does not fit in the frame without sticking out very noticeably). These minor defects are only enough to really knock one star off my rating, as thankfully replacement frames are pretty cheap. ... show more

Bought this for my wife as a sentimental gift you know the kind where you put lots of cute couple pics in well right after Christmas found out that it wasn’t couple pics going in but rather then a couple of her side pieces.     • Great idea but really doesn't hold 10 photos

I bought this for my mother-in-law for Christmas. We all thought it was a great idea since she has 10 great grandchildren and the frame held 10 photos. First issue is that it's ridiculously hard to open the frames to insert a picture. We did manage that, and she loved the gift as we expected. The next issue however was hanging the photos. When you try to hang them on the hooks it says to use all of the pictures overlap each other and you can't use the bottom hooks at all unless you're hanging it on the wall. We ended up having to untie all the velvet loops and them tightly re-tie them to various leaves, hooks and branches so that all 10 pictures were visible. It does look nice but it took us over 30 minutes to finish. If you don't mind the time, it's a nice gift but it won't look like picture in the add unless you're only hanging 3 or 4 pictures. ... show more
