I was looking for black out curtains for 2 reasons. The ever loving heat from the sun coming in my windows in the afternoon, and to darken the 2 rooms that get all the morning light. So far, the blocking of the light from outside is wonderful!!! I look down the hall and it's dark in the middle of the day, hence, I can't see! I love the blackout feature- I bought the gray, the wrinkles are tough to get out. I Ironed each panel (4) and they still have marks. The price is great and the blackout is awesome. I do not like the wrinkles.

I am so pleased with everything about these drapes. They are just as described, soft, sturdy, true navy blue blackout drapes (unlike another brand I had to return.) One of my favorite features was the three inch hem, which allows for rod height variations. At some point I will take the time to drop the hem, but not until after this weekend when my bff visits and enjoys sleeping-in, in darkened guest room. My bedroom is the brightest in the house in the mornings. So I bought these, hoping to sleep longer if the light wasn't so bright. They're perfect. I don't see the inner lining as described, but the fabric is thick enough that it doesn't matter. They're soft and long. Love love. In the pic I attached, you can see how bright it is outside around the edges of the curtain. So yes, you can still see some sunlight, but this is gangbusters compared to what I was dealing with. ... show more

They arenโ€™t completely black out but they do filter out light pretty well. They are soft and good quality and surprisingly not too wrinkled fresh out of the package. I will definitely order more colors. The 84โ€ is beautiful and makes my room look taller.
