My son has been playing pickle ball for a year or so and loving it! He decided to get a better paddle and did a ton of research on which one would be best and within his teenage budget. He settled on this one. First impressions couldn't have been better- I am a sucker for packaging and this arrives like a super-fun gift. We all loved the logo, paddle design and they even included a tote bag! I realize this is has nothing to do with the quality of the paddle- but kudos for the extras! Wondering about the actual paddle? Well, he has been using the paddle for several months now and has no complaints. He chose it based on the grit, wide body, its control and long handle (for double handed back-hands). The only modification he made was adding weights, which he ultimately removed because it didn't improve his play. Downsides? This paddle gets significantly heavier in the rain, which aren't ideal conditions for pickle-ballin' so its no biggie. It is also not USAPA approved, so it can't be used in a tournament, in case you're planning on becoming a pro. Otherwise, buy this paddle and be the coolest kid at the courts! ... show more

My husband and I got into pickleball a few years ago (like the rest of the world). We bought some cheap paddles on Amazon and just thought that's what paddles felt like. But then we were introduced to Picklish paddles and oh my word -- it made a huge difference in both the level you can play at and the enjoyment of the game. The paddles are very high quality and give you more control over the ball. They also feel better in your hands and when contacting with the ball than cheap paddles do. We’ve played with them on multiple occasions and they perform just as well, if not better, than other more expensive paddles. They’re comfortable to hold and of course, love the look. There's really no reason to pay $80 for a pickleball racket, unless it really matters to you how cute it is. This is a great racket and I receive compliments on it all the time because it's so gosh darn cute. Did I need to pay $80 for a Pickleball racket? Probably not. But I do love it.
