Start playing doubles so that you focus less on running around and covering the entire court. Just focus on your half of the court, and developing a feel for how to hit the ball, and the strategy of getting to the net. In less than ten minutes, you will develop a feel for the game. If during the next hour, you find yourself laughing, having fun, smashing a shot or two at your opponent and trash talking a bit, then you will be hooked on the game. Come back with your friends a few more times, and you are now part of the pickleball fraternity. We have a ton of different pickleball paddles now. Some of them are the heavier wood ones but these ones are better than those ones. I really like the design on these and since they are lightweight we are able to play for longer. They feel sturdy and like they won't break or anything. We have used them at least a dozen times now with no issues. Great paddles and design! I also really like the mesh carry bag they come with. It makes it super easy to take them to the beach with us and allows us to easily shake any sand off so we don't track it all over the house. ... show more

This beginner pickleball set seems nice enough! The paddles have a good look to them, and the balls feel well manufactured. I'm still figuring out the game so no idea if they are any better than other paddles out there, but so far they play fine as far as I can tell! My main gripe with these is that they give you this netted storage bag that's honestly pretty worthless. It doesn't really want to hold a shape, and has no way to stay closed, so once you set it down things just want to roll free. I'd honestly rather it didn't come with a bag at all because that sad net is frustrating. If you're picking up this set, find a good carrying case to purchase separately, or go find one of the thousands of sets that come with a decent bag. But if you already have a bag or aren't worried about storage, these seem to be nice enough! ... show more

Idk what I’m doing with regards to this sport, it these paddles hit the ball. The design is really nice and the wood seems like good quality. They came with a set of balls and a sweatband which is nice.

These paddles are beautiful, and they have a nice shimmery finish. The pattern printed on the paddle includes a line in the middle of paddle to help you aim at the ball. The grip on the handle is nice and smooth, and feels good in your hand. (Other paddles we have tried were not as nice and had tall ridges where the grip tape overlapped.) And it includes 4 balls with carrying pouch! (However, while they are two different colors, I think both colors are outdoor balls but they seem to have a couple more holes than normal outdoor balls with 40 holes.) ... show more

This is a fine pickleball paddle set for beginners. It includes four paddles, four balls, and a mesh carrying bag. The bag leaves much to be desired for me, especially since it does nothing to protect the paddles. I would prefer a zippered bag to make sure everything stays together. The product claims to be USAPA approved, but there is nothing on the product itself indicating that is true, unlike other paddles that I have. These paddles are also slightly thicker than the USAPA paddles that I have. If you plan on using these in a tournament, you may want to double check that they are approved prior to the tournament day. It is nice to find a set that includes four paddles and they do work fine for play. ... show more

The pickleball paddles look great! The colors are so pretty and flattering to look at. Build quality of the paddles looks pretty good as well. I like that this comes with two sets of paddles (four total), four balls, and a netted carrying bag. A pickleball court recently opened up near me, and I’ve been taking these paddles with me. My friends and I have enjoyed using them so far. It has a comfortable grip and is lightweight.
