I bought my wife some nice paddles for Christmas and through we’d get another set for friends and our daughter. The paddles don’t have little gaps at the bottom like the photo seems to represent. They’re actually just painted in- the marketing pics make it appear different. Aluminum paddles are def bottom tier with quality. More control but no power at all. You’ll see a notice difference if you’ve played with carbon or fiberglass paddles. The balls are the same. Definitely feel cheap and lower quality compared to other. The best part of this is the price, it’s inexpensive, but clearly you get what you pay for. I won’t return since they’re just an extra set that we don’t care gets beat up, but I’ll definitely go find my own paddle that’s better quality.
