Let me preface by stating I am NOT a pickleball pro, basically only been playing for a few years now, however I did play a lot of tennis, and also ping-pong, so this sport was a natural progression for me and I can hold my own on a court. My personal breakdown of pickleball paddles. Wood - Cheapest, Lowest quality, heavy, not a lot of spin, for the beginner at best, I don't recommend. Fiberglass - inexpensive to moderately priced, Lighter, more responsive than wood, decent spin depending on finish, can be a great paddle for the beginner to intermediate player. Graphite/Carbon Fiber - Usually most expensive, light, also usually the best spin, intermediate to advanced / pro player. This paddle falls into the "Pro Raw Carbon Fiber" category, one of the more popular choices for the serious player. Tried this out this past weekend and was very happy with the performance. Lightweight yet solid ball striking, comfortable grip, but most important I look for ball control and this has a nice textured surface and added a lot of spin to the ball making those topspin or backspin shots that much easier. Overall a really nice paddle, and a LOT cheaper than a lot of alternatives that can go as high as $300!

This is a very high quality pickleball paddle that I have thoroughly enjoyed using on the courts. It has a long handle with a great grip, and the the ball responds well when it strikes the paddle surface. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it smooth to make quick shots. It comes with a cover that zips around the head to protect it when not in use. I am extremely happy with this and highly recommend it if you are in the market for a new paddle or want to upgrade your existing one.

When I got this, it was listed at $90. It's down to $60 already, which I think is a steal for a great quality paddle like this. My other high quality one I got recently was $180, so quite a bit more expensive than this. That one is better in almost every way, but it should be for that price. This plays great and has a nice, slightly rough surface on the paddle. It also has a nice long, high quality grip. It even includes a case. My other one has a shorter handle and didn't included a case. If you think you might remotely like pickleball, and will play it in the future, it might be worth it to spend a little bit more on a paddle in this price range and quality. Buying the cheap junk they sell for beginners won't last you long before you want something better.

First off - I am a beginner pickleball player. I have used multiple rackets, mostly on the lower end of the spectrum. I ordered this racket to see if/how a better racket would affect my game. Pleased to say that my game has improved using this racket! I find the racket has a good balance of control and power. I was a 40+ years racquetball player and know that you need both attributes to win games. The cushioned grip is the right size for my large hands and is very slip resistant. Not sure how long the artificial leather grip will last as it feels thin in some areas. The "carry bag" is just a head cover. The product description and graphics desperately need editing as there are words and statements that do not make sense to me ("Professionals (Diamond); high-resonance for professionals; reach racer level'?). Probably a translation issue. Overall, a decent racket that helps my game.

We ordered this as an upgrade to our beginner paddles that came in a much cheaper set. We are not disappointed. This paddle is just as lightweight, with a longer handle and a much "grippier" surface. It's comfortable to play with and looks like it should last a long time. This paddle is a great upgrade for beginners. 5 stars
