This is a SOLID brand! I have plenty of "high-end" blushes, bronzers and powders, yet, this is the brand I reach for. It never disappoints. I love these compacts, and I admit I own many of them. THIS particular shade has a bit of sheen, so not matte like some other compacts. Take a large fluffy brush, swirl it around and apply to face for soft, diffused application. There is plenty of pigment to build if you want. I love the different tones, where it's almost a cross between a blush and a bronzer! *Breakage, because it IS a thing when we order online. Not applicable to you, just skip this section. These compacts fares a little bit better than similar products. HOWEVER, if you order it and it doesn't break in transit, you should be good. Some makeup totally crumble with stuff *everywhere.* If a Physician's Formula face product compact breaks, it tends to be a crack across the surface, with a few chunks of pigment. You won't be able to save or use that. My compact didn't survive being in luggage from Europe, and I went to replace it right away! I ordered one from beauty chain [you can likely figure out who] sent me one and it was broken badly, and it was a hassle getting a new one, because they were sold out.
