Love love love this product. I got the color Champagne and was pleasantly surprised to find that this highlighter worked super well for me. It can be built up to a blinding intensity comparable to my Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Summer Snowcone. Comparing the two of them, I found that they both had that subtle gold look without making me (a pale, yellow-undertoned person) look jaundiced. The skin Frost looks to have slightly bigger sparkles in it's formula, while this physicians formula one is more micronized looking, the which makes it look sort of metallic on the skin. Good stuff. If you want to make it INTENSE, highly recommend applying it with a beauty blender instead of a brush. Worked scarily well. The only potential downside to it is the scent, if youre sensitive to having perfumey smelling things on your face. It's the same scent that's in their bronzers. Coconutty. So I went into this needing a highlighter that wasn't in the traditional "powder" form. I'm 41 and highlighting the upper cheek bone area, while gorgeous on 22 year old YouTubers, can appear cakey on older women with those pesky crows feet. I have tried all of them, and everything has grooved INTO my lines, and left me almost too white, and glittery looking. I don't want to look like a lady of the night for petes sake, I just want a subtle glow on my upper cheekbones, and tip of my nose. The Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter is the best affordable highlighter that I have ever used. The look is natural, no heavy glitters, it LITERALLY feels like butter, and has no powder residue with sits on aging skin so naturally. It creates a flawless sheen that is visible without being obviously heavy and cakey. Oh, and it smells like a very light fresh coconut, which makes me so happy! I apply it with my finger tips, but it also goes on great with a brush too. I highly recommend this product to anyone with skin, but especially ladies out there who might be experiencing signs of aging. Hey, we want to look beautiful too! :)

This stuff is so soft and smooth. Feels great, smells good and SHINES. Love this highlighter. Amazing for pale skin but would also be great used as a shadow (I do believe it is eye safe :)!)

This highlighter is everything I had ever hoped for. I HATE overpowering highlighter that make you look greasy - Instagram looks don't always work in the real world. This highlighter picks up right onto your finger and melts onto the skin, leaving a natural finish. I built it up quite a bit without any disruption of my Bareminerals Original Foundation - which is a mineral loose powder. It really is a buttery cream, I dab a little on my fingers and mix with my foundation primer to make a luminous primer. This could easily sell for $30-40, but it's SO affordable! I am very very happy, thank you Physician's Formula!

I love this highlighter. I use it for multiple uses, cheekbones, eye shadow and for my brows. I have extremely fair skin so this product works well for me. It is very pigmented so it might be a little over kill on dark skin if too much is applied!

I am the type of person who will buy a new highlighter/mascara/lipstick every single time to try new things since I have sensitive skin and can't mess with my foundation routine too much, but let me just say that I will be buying more of this highlighter! WOW! For a drugstore brand, this is awesome! I am very pale (neutral) but contour and use bronzer and blush, and this looks just amazing on. So soft and blendable, and decently pigmented- can be lightly dabbed on for a light natural glow, or built to have the "insta-glow". Light pink undertone due to the pearlescent hue, but not that noticable, especially over blush. Not too glittery and not too oily or dry looking, either. New favorite for sure!

This is my favorite makeup find of 2019 thus far. The highlighter feels almost wet when swatched with your finger, however applies like a powder. I’m obsessed! I have two colors: pearl and champagne. The highlighter does not have glitter in it, but gives the most beautiful sheen on the cheek bones. I love that I can use a light hand to give my cheeks a fresh, dewy look, or I can build up the highlighter on my cheeks to reflect the actual sun. Love it! I have been using a small stipple brush to apple the product. I have tried using a beauty sponge but found the product doesn’t go on as beautifully. The smell is wonderful and reminds me of the beach. It smells like coconut and sunscreen. I normally don’t like coconut but this scent is not too much. The price point is awesome! At a drugstore you would be paying $10+ as physicians formula is a more expensive line.

(pearl) kind of glittery and doesn’t show up as well (it swatches well, but on the cheeks, it kind of slides away.) not as pigmented as the champagne one. don’t think it’s worth the 10 bucks for the pearl one, got champagne from ulta and it’s beautiful, just too dark for me :(
