The Physicians Formula bronzer has been my go-to for years, so when I saw this compact travel size I decided to try it out. Well, it absolutely delivers. I love this palette! It goes on so smooth and is beautiful. They are perfectly pigmented to allow for light “no makeup makeup” look or to layer for going out at night. I typically avoid scented products yet was pleasantly surprised that this pallette had a light, tropical beachy scent when I opened it. I used to use pf for yeeeears and then kind of got out of the makeup game and then kind of forgot about them. Figured id try this palette so i could try several palettes at once plus i missed the scent of the bronzer i loved. This is an absolute dream. Deffinitly made for lighter skin tones, it would be awesome if they made one for the darker skintones as well. Very neutral shades. The top blush is hyper metallic and reminds me of one of my fenty blushes actually. So you could wear without a high light, the little glam goblin i am, i decided i MUST also try the highlight. If you are super super fair this wont work for you but it is beautiful and smoothe and no glitter which i appreciate. This would look amazing with a tan and especially at night at a beach or pool party etc. I did use the light blush to take some of the shine down off of the top blush otherwise i would blind people, which now that i think about it some people have it comin 🤣. Lets talk the light pink blush and the nude powder. They both came hard panned. Im assuming some sort of manufacturing or pressing issue. The formula is fine. I just took a spooly and knocked off the top layer. My skin tons is a fair olive and the light pink doesnt really show up on me. The regular powder is not translucent as in i didnt use it to set the under eye. However i did use it to set the rest of my face. Edit: Turns out I'm allergic to the bronzers and the rose highlight. I have some PF face powders and have used some of their products in the past, nothing ever gave me an allergic reaction like this. No makeup ever has actually. I suspect it might be the strong fragrance in some of the products. Shame too because it's really beautiful. I guess I will be passing it to someone who can use it. Overall I enjoy this palette even though there are some cons but nothing terrible imo. First, the smell. I don't find the scents offensive or overwhelming but I don't really care for them either. The butter bronzer smells like sweet coconuts. The matte bronzer smells like something sweet and tropical, can't really define it. The rose highlighter smells like a flower. I don't understand how some people love the smell of these things. Does nothing for me personally and are unnecessary. I have olive toned, light skin and the first bronzer barely shows up on me. The matte bronzer is darker and will be better for when I'm tan. Don't let the pearl highlighter fool you because it appears white but that's actually a overspray. Underneath the overspray is a lighter gold shade, very pretty. The rose highlighter is is more brilliant gold shade than the pearl one. Would look beautiful on tan skin. The translucent powder is nice but leaves me with a white cast. The blush is a lovely bright pink shade. I was expecting it to be glittery but instead has subtle micro shimmers that aren't overwhelming. With the exception of the translucent powder which is slightly powdery, the rest are all rich and creamy to the touch. Very nice quality but are fragile and can break easily so be gentle with it. A fun little palette with very warm tones. It smells like chocolate and coconut 🤎🥥. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show up very well on my medium/olive skin tone and isn’t as pigmented as I would’ve hoped.
