  • Very helpful!
Format: Paperback
If you are preparing for a PA school interview, you need to get this book! It was so helpful for my interview preparation in so many ways, making me feel more confident and prepared. It helps you break down your thoughts by taking you through every stage of the interview process. Th book begins by breaking down the steps you need to take prior to an interview invite such as self-reflection and thought dump. It then goes into tips for preparing for the actual interview questions you could be dealt with and an explanation of the different types of interview styles. There are a ton of practice questions that allow you to recall your experiences and organize them into solid answers. I am extremely happy with my purchase of this book! ... show more

  • Great book, very helpful
Format: Paperback
Loved this book. It really helped me prepare for interviews. I would recommend reading this then using it to inspire your responses. I've heard feedback that sometimes candidates all sound the same and have the same answers to questions. I think this book is a great foundation to see how interviewers would like a question to be answered, but make sure to make your answers YOU. Make them remember you. ... show more

Great tool. I only used this book and aced my interviews. I got into each school I interviewed and can say each asked at least a few questions that were similar to those in the book.

  • Super helpful
Format: Paperback
This was a great book for preparing for my PA school interviews. I am the first person in my family to pursue a medical career so I was totally on my own figuring out the whole application process. This book made my interviews feel way less intimidating and helped me figure out how to structure my responses (and not panic). I got accepted so I would say it worked well for me! ... show more

  • It worked!
Format: Paperback
This book was helpful to help get me thinking about PA school interviews, though many of these prompts can be found elsewhere. Having a workbook was great, and I was ultimately accepted my first application cycle so well worth it!

  • Worth it, It got everything right
Format: Paperback
If you're planning to apply to PA school, this is a must have. I was going in blind, with no friends or family who'd gone through the application process. So I had no one to give me advice or tips or a heads up on how brutal it would be. This book did that for me. I used everything I learned from this book and got accepted into my preferred program my first time applying. The advice and instruction this book gives is more than worth the price, I read this cover to cover and I truly believe it made all the difference. Good luck in your applications! ... show more

  • Great book, practice and get accepted!
Format: Paperback
This is a great little book! It's a quick read and helps you come up with how to answer your interview questions on your own by learning what they are looking for or why they ask that type of question. I've only heard back from one school so far for interview invite and just found out I was accepted at freaking Yale! I made flash card of Savanah's questions for me to practice outloud and then had family and other pre PAs quiz me. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on PA interviews too. I also had to take the Capser exam and studying for that I felt also helped me in my MMI interview since many are ethical/scenario based questions typically. Good luck to all of you! Prepare as much as you can but be confident! You have a lot to offer a school and your future patients so trust the process and keep your head up 🥰 ... show more
