Features

  • Bigger Printing Area & A Taller & Stronger Z-axisSonic Mighty 4K provides a 9.3 printing area that empowers makers to print bigger and larger quantities in a single batch. Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K comes with a 22 cm Z-axis and dual-linear rails, allowing creators to produce tall and spectacular tabletops, such as gigantic dragons or large ogres. The stronger Z-axis also prevents the 3D printer from wobbling, which provides the user with a stable and reliable printing process.
  • High 4K ResolutionWith its large printing capability, Sonic Mighty 4K doesnt compromise its printing precision. Monochrome LCD printing also allows the 3D printer to print up to 4 times faster than traditional 3D printers. Rapid prototyping greatly improves printing efficiency and increases efficiency by printing out each layer in only two seconds. In addition, each Phrozen 3D printer LCD is guaranteed to have 2000 working hours while a free 3-month warranty is also offered.
  • Quality Prints and Consistent SuccessPhrozen Sonic Mighty 4Ks matrix light source consists of 54 UV LED lights with uniform light emission; this ensures superior print results and accurate printing size. The set screws on the sides of the building plate also ensure longer-lasting leveling, while the sandblasted surface provides a much stronger adherence, especially when printing larger 3D models. Sonic Mighty 4K is also great to print mini or small models occasionally.
  • Multi-Resin CompatibilitySonic Mighty 4K is compatible with the majority of 3D printing resin on the market. For the ideal printing experience, we strongly recommend using Phrozen Aqua-Gray 4K resin & Water-Washable resins. The resin profile and printing settings are all available on Phrozens official website, empowering anyone new to 3D printing to make models like a pro.

  • Spare parts
Size: Mighty 8K
When you purchase one of these Phrozen Sonic Mighty 8K LCD printers, purchase a second one for spare parts. Eventually you will want a second vat ($140), a second print platform ($85), and will need a replacement LCD screen ($155) when it fails (3 month warranty). Total $380. No idea what will fail next, but certainly something (expensive) will. (I paid $495 for mine when it first came out) If you print real parts, rather than toys, I recommend the Phrozen Onyx Impact Plus resin. The strongest, and most durable resin I have found, after wasting $$$ on many other "strong" resins. Not cheap, but.... Base layer 70 seconds to make sure it adheres to the print platform; print layer 24 seconds. Not very fast, but very good. Camera has not been enabled yet, but who cares?? Otherwise, great machine. ... show more

  • So good I am going to buy a second one!
Size: Mighty 8K
Ease of use: This is NOT my first resin printer, I have two others that have served me well and are still going. It is however, easier to level and keep it's level. The big display panel and instructions on the thumb drive make it a breeze to get going. The feet on the resin reservoir help to align it to the print bed. Quality of Prints: I mainly print 28mm miniatures and the detail at 8K with a resolution of 0.020 mm is simply awe inspiring! I have seen the prints off of 12K printers and there is NO difference between them (vs. 8K prints) to the naked eye! So get the Mighty 8K and be assured that you are getting the best there is. If you are printing bigger items you will probably want to enable Anti-Aliasing and delve into your particular slicer's settings. Construction: This printer is solidly put together, nothing shoddy about it. Cons: I wish the resin reservoir had a more pronounced pour groove but it is adequate. On the topic of the reservoir a better fill line would also be appreciated. Both of these are pretty minor gripes in the scheme of things though. Pros: Large build plate, easy to level, and the build plate scraper works like magic! Life Improvements: I went ahead and got the Flexible Build Plate from Wham Bam Systems for the Might 8K and I don't care WHAT printer I get in the future I am going to get a flexible build plate for it! Final Thoughts: It is a great printer, with a large build plate, that is easy to level and operate! ... show more

  • Excellent printer...for newbie or experienced.
Size: Mighty 8K
This was my second resin printer/third 3D printer ever purchased and, at the time...the largest. I was very apprehensive when making this purchase, but the online reviews (both on Amazon and elsewhere) helped me make that jump. And I'm glad I did. This printer, out of the box, has been nothing short of a powerhouse. After unboxing, I immediately ran the test print...and it came out nearly perfect. Tweaking and dialing in the settings (there are a LOT of guides out there to help out), the only failures I've had were either due to me (poor supports mainly) or temperature-related (which was solved by purchasing a mini heater that fits easily inside the cabinet). The details are outstanding, even when printing smaller parts. And the overall size is second only (for me) to the M3 Max. I use nothing but Phrozen 8K Aqua resins in this machine, and have various settings pre-set/stored according to layer thickness and anti-aliasing. As for slicers...I use both Lychee and Chitubox Pro depending on what tickles me at the moment, and neither have given me any issues whatsoever. I've even shut the machine down for weeks on end (usually when I've been gone from home or when it simply got too cold that even then heaters couldn't keep the enclosure warm enough) and it's never failed to print on restarting and getting it all warmed up and the vat filled. I DID purchase the Mach 5 screen protector for this and ordered a couple extra vats which I then switched out to nFEP (purchased here on Amazon) which allowed me to tweak the time to print even a little bit more (nFEP provides less resistance than the standard FEP film, so lift speeds and height can be reduced a bit to reduce overall print time). Overall, I have not one bad thing to say about this machine at all. The Wash/Cure station - that's a different story and a reason why I gave Technical Support 4 stars rather than 5. But the printer itself? 100% worth the money! ... show more

  • Is this a decent printer? Yes
Size: Mighty 8K
After doing the firmware update, I had some issues as the boundaries of the printer seemed to have changed. This led to a print file that was working fine before, suddenly causing the printer to freeze midway through a production run. I ran the error log through ChatGPT and it recognized that there was a "loss of bounds" issue, which I correctly interpreted to mean that the XYZ, parameters had changed. If you are using Chitubox, make sure you leave an additional centimeter or half inch of clearance around the machine boundaries in the X, Y and Z directions, after a Firmware update, and also remember to re-do the Calibration process, this should address any out of bounds events happening during a print. ... show more
