It's not the fastest but it ain't the slowest neither. Its for being an electronic rc it's fast. Too bad I couldn't get the upgraded parts just too see the difference if I upgraded it.

Car is fast ,fast enough that if you crash it, it will break. Not the kind of R/C car that you can beat up. As long as you treated like a breakable toy it is a lot of fun . Has all kinds of stuff you can do with it . With two batteries supplied there should be no power issues . Best to keep it to smooth surface

Thirty years ago, I used to build and race R/C cars as a hobby. When I saw this, I thought it would be just another cheap toy, but after looking at it and testing it out, this is a legit R/C car. The suspension is great (not to firm or soft), and the steering trim allows fine adjustments. The acceleration is quick and nimble. I like that it comes with 2 battery packs so the fun does not end when the charge runs out. I decided to disconnect the wires that operate the lights to save charge. Personally, I don't like the lights. Too distracting. Anyway, I originally ordered this for my kid, but I end up playing with it more often :)

This car is FAST on pavement. I beats larger more expensive cars easily. The car is a bit on the small side even for a 1:16 but that does not effect the street performance. The car is not very lifted and the smaller tires make it very bouncy in the grass. The range on the remote was only about 150'. I opened it up and drilled a tiny hole and put the antenna wire out the top. I now have 240' range as would be expected with 2.4 ghz remotes. The battery last about 20 minutes going mostly full speed and last easily 30+ minutes with intermittent driving and speeds. The tittle implies this is a drift or off-road car. When the pavement is wet you can get it to drift. However on dry, it has way to much speed and will roll. If you are looking for a FAST long drive time car for pavement, this is the car for you.
