The instructions are pretty good. I had a little confusion as to what the little slips of paper were for since there’s no mention of them in the directions. I tried using it between the metal base and the photo, and it made the sandwich too thick, so I made the next one without and it worked fine. I couldn’t resist making a magnet of Mr. Personality, our kitten Flash. It honestly works better than I expected, I’m actually pretty impressed. I’m curious as to why the pink version was $102 (at the time of ordering and review), and the blue and green were only $99? Also, I wish it came with safety pins as an option to make a button or a magnet. I suppose I can include a small metal disk to hold it on a garment…. The plastic base has holes for pins, and the button maker has a notch for them too. While they mention in the product description the benefits of magnets over pins, it’s still a viable option. Kids and adults still collect and wear pin buttons… I’ll have to find some pins that will work… Also, (at the time of ordering and review) there aren’t any options by this seller for buying replacement supplies, I did find another seller that had a listing for the pieces and parts, so I know they’re out there when I need replenishment. Lastly, I wish there were option to buy and swap out shapes and sizes for the magnets and buttons, I’d love to make heart and even boring round buttons that I found when looking for replenishment supplies. Regardless, I like this button maker, it works better than expected. The plastic is stronger than a metal dent-puller I had, where the handle broke off on the second dent… While marketed as a toy for kids, I’m excited to add magnets and buttons to my craft fair booths.

First and foremost, once I figured this thing out it's SUPER FUN! This is a good quality and super easy to operate magnet picture maker. It comes with enough supplies where you can make 100 magnetic pictures. The instructions were very easy and clear making it very simple to follow them and get started making the cutest picture magnets.

I’ve always wanted one but couldn’t justify spending over $1,000 from other manufacturers. This one, however, is a game-changer. It’s beautifully designed in a lovely baby blue color, easy to use and came with everything needed to start making them. I am thrilled with this fridge button maker!
